But you have to admit that asking them to lower their guard, while simultaneously practicing to invade them and reneging on our side of the deal, would make anyone mistrust our intentions, would it not?

Brian, these exercises take place on regularly scheduled timetables and have taken place through various administrations. I don''t know where the ''reneging'' part comes from as we (five of the six parties involved in the talks aimed at North Korea''s nuclear disaramament) have continually maintained our position as to what North Korea must do. By the way, North Korea has continually acted agressive toward not only South Korea but Japan in manners that could be considered acts of war. That''s why S. Korea''s readiness posture continues to remain high as they still see N. Korea as a viable threat.

the solution to nk is obivous a preemptive sneak attack. have one of our boomers deploy to sea of japan. schedule peace talks and launch on a depressed flight and nuc them straight to hell. cut there reaction time way down. then blame russia for the attack

...do you blame them?

I mean, look who they''re dealing with?

We don''t trust Bush and Darth Cheney back here in the U.S. they go back on their word all of the time. they have no credibility and so therefore cannot be trusted to negotiate on good faith for any reason.

Hopefully Obama and Biden will get in there and add some sanity to these talks. I''m tired of all these blustering idiot "Republican Suicide Bombers" that could care less about humanity and insist on blowing up the world.

These blustering idiot "Republican Suicide Bombers" need to all be put on a space craft and sent to Mars to look at how civilization would like after a nuclear holocoust.

N.Korea is demanding more aid or else. Real religion would never be bribed. A coward would.

So does this mean the Oil Exxon sends to Korea that we pay for is going to start coming to the USA? Was not this part of the Korea deal? Our 5 million barrels a day from Alaska that is sold overseas needs to be redirected.

Bush cancels Clinton''s Deal, makes additional concession, gets an equally bad deal according to Bush''s ex-UN Ambassador John Bolton, now North Korea does a ''Bush'' and cancels the deal, all in all yet another abysmal diplomatic "success" from the Bush administration AND Secretary of State Rice. But the Republicans understand National Security and Obama''s judgment is flawed!!! By what perverse logic can this be true? NONE, I''ll take Obama''s judgment over the discredited NeoCon National Insecurity Express and any of their crazed practitioners any day!!!!

So you are suggesting we just go ahead and start the nuclear holocost now. Or are you just spewing out more fear mongering?

They think that the "Road Runner" principle is real, that they can survive nuclear war.

GWB looked into Putin''s eyes and saw his pure, angelic soul.

And Uncle Ben''s daughter, through lots of grinning and waving, made a deal with lil'' Kim that was, well, just the very best it could be.

Aren''t you glad you voted for Bush twice? And I''ll bet you are just wetting your pants in anticipation of pulling the lever for McCain.

"Why not nuke''''em to show them how dangerous foolin'''' with this stuff can be?" Posted by airboatboy

Because then we are worse than they, and any other nuclear capable country (Russia, France, England, China) would find it necessary to launch against us, as we become a clear and present danger to the world.
