Let''s just feel fortunate that the 80% you mentioned here that are reading and posting in this forum aren''t running the country. Most sound like armchair Presidents whose thoughts and decisions are motivated by how much beer they''ve had to drink, or whether or not they''ve completed the 3rd grade in school. - Reply to this comment

True, but we didn''t start the war, we didn''t ask for the war, yet they sneaked in like cowards and bombed us on Sunday morning when we least would have expected it. They knew that most all military staff would be off duty. I''m not saying the Japanese soldiers or seamen were cowards, in fact many were very brave and very well trained performing greatly heroic acts during the war, but the sneak attack was cowardly because there was declaration of war at that time! You can cry for the many thousands killed by the nukes, we all do because the lost of life was costly, but what about the 2400+ killed by the sneak attack, are there no tears for them? - Reply to this comment
- For the last year I was looking at the lack of "mortar" in things military between America, England, and France. Never thought Putin would actually give it to us falling for that "crisis" ruse......The mortar is drying nicely. Putin thinks he''s smarter than the Vatican.

- Right, I agree gce....Pres. Saakashvili thought he could just order the murder of more than 2000 civilians, storm 4 Russian troop Peacekeepers bases located in S. Ossetia, and NOT BRING RUSSIA ON_THE_TOP_OF_HIS_HEAD. Ther is more here than meets the eye. This was definitely done to anger
Russia...but what else....make them out to be the ones that were wrong? Little Bush and Conda con Rice have only made a super big deal over the Russians in Georgia, but have said nell to nothing that there buddy Saaka... invaded and murdered. Now ther are 160,000 people homeless due to that jackass. - Reply to this comment
- I just love hearing from Bush and his new lapdog Sarkozy what the Russians "need to do." They''re like a couple of celebrity TV lawyers who can''t get enough of hearing themselves talk.
They''ve been whining and b!tching for 2 weeks about everything Russia does when they should have simply warned Saakashvili not to do anything militarily in South Ossetia.
Now what is certain for the future is that Russia will never be more than quick striking distance from South Ossetia AND Abkhazia.
And I expect the separatist movements in both of those regions (semi-autonomous since about ''92) to flourish in the coming years. After all, if Georgia can break away from the former Soviet Union in ''91, then why can''t these two regions break from Georgia? - Reply to this comment

- Basicly all of this "tough talk" from the Moron in Chief just put up a Russian "no fly zone" in Georgia.
Now Saakshavili is trapped in Tbilisi like Saddam was. So Bush and Condoleeza Con can say what they want but the Russians "own the skies" and the defanged the Georgians by removing all of those used "condoms of fornication" of U.S. and British made weapons.
This crisis is just getting started, folks. - Reply to this comment
- Somebody must have challenged Saakashvili%u2019s plan to Attack South Ossettia. They said you can%u2019t attack South Ossetia and kill all those people and get away with it. He must have replied, %u201CI can pull this off or I%u2019ll eat my tie%u201D.
