"They are saying that they will finish the most of the pullout by friday. I really don''''t understand the Russian mentality."
summarex

Russia is doing what it has promised. But your media is trying to nag Russia in any tiny matter, inventing problems in passing and not paying any attention to the war crimes of the US-backed Saakashvili. You are used to blame Russia. This is easy.

The World is looking at this Russian behavior like its some great surprise! Russia has always been like this! The only difference now is that Russia is no longer poor, Russia has oil and natural gas wealth and doesn`t need to be humble, expect more Russian mischief! This is only the beginning!

They are saying that they will finish the most of the pullout by friday. I really don''t understand the Russian mentality. The agree not only to a starting deadline but comit themselves to an ending one as well. They seem to have a two seps foward and one step back approach to everything. If they are the agrieved party as they say they are they should not be making any promises on pullouts or ceasefires or anything. If the United States was in this situation the answer would be we will pull out when we are good and ready. Anyone who has a problem with that can go to hell. I think the Russians should try to behave more like Americans!

"And tell yourselves that your technology can defeat America''''s."
humanavance

humanavance, you seem to incite America and Russia to comparing their war technologies? It may be either because you don''t understand the consiquancies or you are not American at all (or don''t feel like American). All the problem seems to be just an occasion to exercise in your flowery eloquence.

Sorry, continued....

Please, please, PLEASE don''t allow hanging chads. Can we possibly stand another few months with Bush, hanging in the balance while someone figures out who our next president is?

We need a new President on election day, not months later.

"A tyrant%u2019s only ally is fear."
Humanavance''s citation of an (?) author

By the way, I guess, it''s not so clear about tyrannies in the modern world and who are more ostentatious in the sense of power demonstrating. Don''t buy the fairy tale that Russia is the same USSR. That would be too easy.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said NATO was trying to make a victim of Georgia''s "criminal regime." Georgia''s desire for NATO membership is strongly opposed by Russia.

In Russia we understood what Lavrov said. "Criminal" not because of the desire for NATO membership (stupidity to assume that) but because of the war crimes Saakashvili has perpetrated. Do you think Russians can let him get away with it?
1600 ossetians including women and children are killed in an instant, purposefully. Many - under the Georgian tanks, under the calm gun sight, or driven into houses set alight, purposefully, do you know what I mean? Do you not think of it sometimes when you go to bed and try to sleep in the West? Even in the West media such information are trickling in. WE know about such things fully. I''m sure Russia will pull back its forces and all will participate in peacekeeping. But Russia is amassing information about the war crimes and it will be presented for an international court of law, I hope. I don''t see anything very dubious on Russia Government part so far. US shouldn''t be so tough, too. We strain here in Russia as well as you do when seeing all the actions accomplished in a light manner (Iraq, Belgrade, missile shield and so on). Why Australia is so calm? Canada? At least you shouldn''t support war crimes, NEVER, should you? The question is just common sense and humaneness.

You sound like nothing but bluff and bluster, just like the KGB hit-man (and pedophile) Vladimir Putin.

What will the Russian Neo-Soviet regime have when it can no longer bully steal from its neighbors?

Answer: nothing.

Is it any wonder that people have been fleeing from Russia in droves for many years now.

Yes Howard I know Obama is dragging down the whole Democrat ticket and our congressmen are starting to get worried. Look many of them are going to vote for Hillary at the convention.

Whew!!! that was close,

and to think that at the beginning of last year the primaries were to be a "crowning ceremony" for Hillary Clinton.

But Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi stopped that dead in its tracks! and for good reason too.

We''re almost tricked into thinking that "neputism" was the best way to pick a Democrat nominee but when Obama reminded us of how he had more government and legislative experience then she did then that woke everybody up!

And then to prove Hillary''s inexperience she so stupidly voted for that disaster in Iraq for her own political ambitions, that took the cake.

So its great that Obama was gracious enough to give Hillary and "bitter clingers" like you "one more night in Vegas" to say your goodbyes because everybody knows that Barrack Hussein Obama will be President and Hillary will be out of politics for good!

Good riddance!

Somehow I missed it.

The article is about Russia engagement in Georgia, yet somehow this is related to Obama?

Related to how Russia has become stronger and more cut off during thepast eight years, but certainly not a referendum on Obama.

Moron bloggers.

LOL! Yes, that is how they plan to handle all of Bush''s failures, blame it on Obama. Today a talk show host accused Obama of having protested against America during Vietnam. I suggest that talk show host check out Obama''s age. He wasn''t old enough for that. But they will lie themselves into he11 with their Obama hatred.

Europe will have to live with their shame for failing to stop their own demise at the hands of the Russians. Stop short of stronger measures because of fear of higher fuel costs? Europeans are the real cowards here. Not our war, boys and girls...

Put the perps on a list. Charge the perps with kidnapping and the victims with theft. Then call an end to this war, this sorting problem is just annoying, troops killing, and residents fleeing and being victimized, and all for strategy, oil, and territory...

the Neocons took over. Maybe we will be back to normal before long.

No way we have taken over.. Our Blackhawks are up and flying right over your house.....

Meanwhile back at the Democratic National Committee.

Howard for gods sakes you and George Sorros hand picked him and just like we figured the National Press started to push Obama down the throats of the American Voter 24/7.

OK we didn%u2019t figure that most Americans would put two and two together and figure if a man attends a racist church for Twenty Plus years he must be a first class racist. People have noticed Howard that if Obama doesn%u2019t have a teleprompter he is lost, he is an empty suit.

Frankly Howard that whole thing in Berlin.. %u201CPeople of Berlin, People of the WORLD%u201D didn%u2019t help. I don%u2019t remember anyone not one person President or whatever addressing the %u201CPeople of the World%u201D Wow I thought he was running for President of the USA not WORLD RULER%u2026%u2026
