The republicans have come to willingly, even proudly represent all that is anti humanistic in our country, Racism, religious intolerance, corruption, advocacy of war as a tool of economic foreign policy, and support of an American aristocracy.

On your points, you will see absolute agreement from me, my only concern is that a split may very well conclude in a repeat of Mr. Nader''s role in helping the neonazis back into office.
With only 12 weeks to go, Mr. Nader is not using the media access he has to make his case before the public. You know what he stands for, as do I, but do the younger, first or second time voters?
Because of his low profile approach to getting his message out there, the Republicans get free shots at branding him a nut, and the Democrats get free shots at branding him a spoiler.
At this point, when the neocon agitprop machine is about to unmask all the tactics, n-words, false flag events, and other fear mongering hatred that they can, I am sure they can draw close enough for Diebold to do it''s thing, my position is that anyone but McSame goes to the WH, McSame is altogether not an option.
Mr. Nader, Mr. Obama, heck even Mrs. Clinton is preferable to McSame, (even Bernie Mac, or Isaac Hayes, and they are dead) so let us all consider very carefully all of the ramifications of a McSame presidency, and do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn''t happen. - Reply to this comment

Well at least we know that he is aware of the problems, now if we can just get him to abandon his appeasement of the right wing, which btw is why I think he is now subject to concerns about his probity on this issue, we might just have a winner here.
I also believe it is this palpable effort to placate the obsolete, but still influential neocons, that prompted Rev. Jackson''s rather crude remark, the Rev., as do I, feels that Mr. Obama is wasting time, resources, and the trust of the majority, by trying to give assurances to the already repudiated segment, that they will still have a say in matters of concern to all Americans.
I understand Mr. Obama''s chosen strategy, but it makes him appear weak, and misses a chance to drive another nail in the coffin of outmoded sociopathic thinking.
It is also funny that if he makes a grammatical error, or someone he knows makes a remark that gives further cause for neocon resistance, it stays in the news for weeks, but he says this, and it has yet to appear in mainstream media - Reply to this comment

By the way, try the you tube vid "Chris Rock introduces Obama" on it, Mr. Obama said something very interesting and relevant to some of our past discussions, how this one never made the mainstream news is curious.
Given Mr. Obama''s recent forays rightward, that give us pause as to his probity of certain issues, at least he is the only candidate I have heard, to date, make the statement in that video.
