Russia was going to attack Georgia in August no matter what. You can read below what I posted By Dokka Umarov - The Amir of Caucasus Emirate. You anti Americans on here dont have a clue whats going on. All you know how to do is blame Bush, blame Cheney, Blame Clinton. Blame blame. The fact of the matter is that Russia wants to destroy and take over Georgia as they once had. Soviet Union part 2.

Here Read This:

The so-called "volunteers" that is threatening to come forward against Georgia is just a sound effect of a propaganda assault by Moscow against Tbilisi. Puppet formations of pro-Moscow regimes in the occupied territory of the Caucasus Emirate are already involved in the war against Georgia, so all the Kremlin''s statements regarding this and video footages in the Russian TV channels are only propaganda curtain.

The military leadership of the Caucasus Emirate is closely monitors developments in Georgia. I can not say what actions could be taken from our side in this situation. This issue is beyond my competence.
I would like also to remind that our secret service had warned that Russia planned to start war against Georgia in August....

tbweb - Russia to be in territory of Georgia is not simple so, and as the representative of the United Nations. Duties of its peace-making forces include maintenance of the peace in region. Georgia has attacked Ossetia. It has forced to take adequate measures! Actions of Russia are absolutely lawful and adequate!

Nothing is simple black and white! Everything is many shades of gray! Shades of gray means different things to different parties and will lead to misinterpretation and global conflict! Simple is better, its best to reduce complexity to simplicity so all parties understand and are in agreement before its too late, and it may already be too late!

ApprxAm : You are dead wrong. If Ukraine, Georgia and the Northern Caucasian insurgency come together and join forces as it is being reported by Kavkazcenter, Russia will be in big trouble. They may be able to win over the military of Georgia and Ukraine but they will suffer many casualties. Plus the fact that the Northern Causasian Insurgency (Chechnya and Daghestan) forces will bring alot of Bloodshed into Moscow. I dont think that the Russian people would like that too much. Guerrilla warfare inside Russia would then have Russia calling for a cease fire. Dont go assuming anything. Remember that Russia had alot of trouble with Chechnya at one time. This may bring triple the danger to moscow.

Oh, I''m not blaming the U.S. I''m blaming the Cheney/Bush.

The United States is going to have to clean this *** up...not the EU, not NATO....America.

And I know when Vietnam started....and under whom.

The UN isn''t going to do anything because that''s not what they are for...countries act independently and criticizing Bush is asking questions.

What is going to happen next, George? All of this could have been dealt with better had the president paid attention. not the UN, Jimmy....the US President.

Did the Georgians not strike civilian targets in Ossetia first? That would mean that Georgia made the first move. Then it becomes a *** for Tat escalation. I will reiterate, the phrase of the day should be ''cease fire'' not ''give them more weapons''.

Even in a worst case where you claim Georgia made the first move, it was still a first move inside its own sovereign territory, it was not a first move inside Russian territory! Many Russians live inside Israel and inside the U.S.! If bad luck falls upon Russians living in other nations is Moscow now claiming it will invade everywhere Russian citizens are mistreated with missile attacks, air strikes and naval blockades? When did this new Russian Policy take effect?

The US is not permitted to take unilateral action - as you will I am sure agree. When will the UN act?

ndjam...you don''t have cause to say that.....Russia will go through the Ukraine and Georgia because no one was watching them, yet....provocation came in buddles. Bush and the NeoClowns felt giving cart blanche in Chechnya and "seeing it in his eyes" would be enough to keep Putin in check.

That''s what Bush Sr, Brent Scowcroft and the numerous other former foreign policy experts were telling your heros for years. All Republicans and conservative.

Reality was never on the minds of Cheney/Bush and obvious it''s left you guys.
