So much for human rights. The Olympians should be ashamed of themselves. Along with the sponsors. Time to get a rope

Mr. Bush, rebuked by China after he raised human-rights concerns this week, is the first U.S. president to attend an Olympics on foreign soil.

Please keep him and show him a little Chinese justice since he gets away with everything over here. You can have Daddy Bush as a bonus!

I think people should just enjoy the games and quit trying to put so much politics and religion into the olympics. These young people have worked so hard for this once in a lifetime chance. Why do some people have to try and spoil it for them. JMHO.

Yeah, MyOpinion1, I agree. China is nothing more than a totalitarian regime, complete with secret police, thought crime, a state-run media, censors, snitchs, widespread active propaganda and an army of powerless workers. Why do you think everything we own is made in China? Cheap, slave labor. Disgusting.Pathetic. Olympics NEVER should have been awarded to this hellhole. Boycott Red China! By the way, if I lived there, and tried to post this, the secret police would be at my doorstep within 24 hours. that''s a fact. They monitor EVERYTHING on their little version of the internet, and free speech is most definitely not a value for them. Sad.

I wonder if Dubya will take Daddy to his new movie this fall....''W''. I''m sure it will be like reminiscing the old days.
