Note how Condi Rice makes no criticism or demands of Georgia, but she lambasts Russia. The US knew in advance about Georgias ''surprise'' attack and had already written their speeches to condemn Russia. Without looking up the opinion of others, what does that tell you about the US government? OPEN YOUR EYES !

Stop being such a mind numbingly partisan conspiratorial pissant. The reality is Russia supplanted the local government there, moved Russian citizens in and wrested control from the Georgian govt. Believe me, this is not the only place this is taking place in and around Russia. They realized they screwed the pooch by letting the Berlin wall crumble and letting go of the eastern block, Baltic states, yada yada. Now they want them back. If that''s not imperialism, I don''t know what is.
