- A bullet to the head of the killer is too easy. An eye for an eye. Put him in a lions cage at feeding time with his body being lathered in meat juices.
I feel for the victim''s wife and kids. - Reply to this comment
- What would the Chinese do if the crime had been committed in China? A 22 calliber bullet in the back of the head and the bill for the bullet presented to his family.

And what do you think of China''s human rights record? - Reply to this comment
- This guy wouldn''t stand a chance of being rewarded with the death penalty in this country - he''s obviously insane, and you can''t put insane people to death even in Texas!! Canada, as already pointed out doesn''t even have the death penalty - and no, you can''t just change jurisdiction because you don''t like the law where you are. Basically we''re (well Canada) is stuck with this @$$hole.

- The Court Surgeon should give Li a full frontal lobotomy. It will give him a great relief. The procedure discourages outbursts from other Felons. Then, Li suffers no affects of schizophrenia.

- I''ll never forget this case and I only read about it. My prayers go to the victim''s family and friends and to those poor passengers. I think something must have been brewing in Mr. Li''s mind for a while. He told his wife one story and his boss another. And who takes a hunting knife along? He must have been fantasizing about murder and dismemberment and seized on the opportunity. What a horrible end for Tim McLean. I think Mr. Li should be executed whether he''s insane or not. As a society, we don''t need individuals that are this demented breathing the same air as we are.

- Walt or MCVet funny how you mental cases can make this into a BUSH story.. when it did''nt even happen in America.. Maybe you should be Li''s bunk mate..

I second that thought. Some of these nuts can twist ANY story into a Bush story. Bush is responsible for absolutely EVERYTHING that happens, in their dim, paranoid minds.

- Oh the humanity!!! This is so outrageous and horrible. It defies common sense. There''s nothing that a human won''t do to another of their own kind. It doesn''t matter that he''s Chinese...we''re all humans here. Get a grip all you who are close to breaking. Kill yourselves before you kill somebody that we care for and love...
My heart goes out to Tim''s family and friends. - Reply to this comment

- The proper method of execution in this case is to run over the guy with a Greyhound Bus. Why waste a bullet?

- I think there must be some very strange past for this killer. This is the weirdest murder I ever recall. I think its not too good for Greyhounds business! This one won''t leave the public memory for a generation, me thinks. I feel so for McLean and for his family.
