We as a people do not know yet how much the blunder of Afganistan will cost us, either in lives or wealth, but there is one fact that we all can see. Attempts to sweep it under the rug as this poor soul did is not going to save one life or make one of us safer. We must come to grips with the incompetence of George W. Bush, look carefully at how we ended up with the Taliban/Al Queda in the Mountains of Pakistan stronger than when we first went into that nation. With the amount of wealth and lives lost over the last 7 years to now face what we face is beyond a doubt the worst management of a War in the history of man period! - Reply to this comment
