The Truth is now center stage? You want the truth? You can''t handle the truth! (No pun intended!) The truth is Saddam Hussein had to be dealt with one way or the other, Saddam was out of control. One of Saddams worst acts in my view was paying the families of suicide bombers $25,000(US) to blow themselves up in Israel. This is not an acceptable act for any head of state anywhere and Saddam should have been removed for that single reason alone. Now for the "real truth", Saddam had to go, maybe an invasion of Iraq itself was the wrong method to remove Saddam, I think so, and weapons of mass destruction was the wrong excuse but Saddam had to go despite that! I likened Saddam to the drug dealer selling drugs on the corner Police can''t catch because the drug dealer is so good at hiding them, so good at selling them, but the Police know for a fact the drug dealer is engaged in selling drugs, they have the proof in witnesses and video, but no hard evidence! So the Police plant the drugs on the dealer and remove him illegally, wrong yes, but not completely in the eyes of some! Saddam was the equivalent of an illegal drug dealer, removed illegally (maybe) but he had to go! Finally don''t forget, the Iraqi''s hung Saddam, his people killed him, not the U.S.! - Reply to this comment

- Diplomacy requires patience and persistence. Apparently the Bush administration thinks that the fact that they came to the table should produce immediate results. That kind of impatience and arrogance have been the hallmark of Bush/Cheney "leadership." The American people have been ill-served by the immaturity of the current administration.

- Iran and US sit down to talks - Iran tells US to close down our nuclear plants and destroy our defensive nuclear weapons. The US says "no". Iran says the US "Not Serious" About Nuke Talks. Same deal here. If you don''''t do what Rice (Bush)dictates you are "not serious". (unless, of course, you are the government of Iraq - then you are a "young democracy")

The Bible does not talk about exactly when the end of the world will be or total complete disaster. There will be very,very bad disasters, worse than the ones we have already seen. The Bible does say that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way so that the world can continue in its sin without us annoying Christians being around.
