- King George II also had to go to china to see if his summer home was completed. And to make sure the fund had been channeled to the right account to pay for this palace to live in excile.

- Bush: Skipping Olympics Would Be An Insult
This admin. has bent over so much to take it up the bumper, I''d sure like to know what the Chinese are paying them. Billions$$$$? Trillions$$$$?
They are a treasonous government, we have, with mountains of evidence to their wilfulness against the people, probably why they like the Chinese government so much. Even their being elected has numerous incidences of fraud. Their manipulation and ability to censor media, if not flat out use it as a weapon against the people in misinformation and propaganda, shows the war they are truely fighting. I think D.C. is pretty much a cornered market (media, executive, legislative and judicial), people.
It''s a sad thing seeing the fall of what used to be such a great country. And the bootlickers, either you''re to stupid to see what this admin. has done to this country, or your knowingly taking part in helping them achieve it. - Reply to this comment

- It is an insult to the chinese, tibetans, and others that have been butchered and tortured by the chinese government for Bush to attend the olympics.
Bush should be ashamed of himself.
I''m ashamed to have ever voted for him.

- Isn''t an insult what America would do to a smaller country with the worst human rights abuses in the world?
Oh, I forgot, we don''t care about human rights abuses when it comes to unlimited amounts of free slave labor that make a few hundred American and Chinese families unbelievably materially rich.
You top one percent boys are going to be awful uneasy someday standing before the judge who was born in a barn to a carpenter. You think you got it all going on, but the joke is on you and your messed up off spring. - Reply to this comment
- "smurfcrusher..According to the Chinese we were NOT in a international zone...different countries have different rules about territorial limits...and...we WERE sping on the Chinese (like it or not)...AND...A chinese pilot gets killed they are going to let us go "scott free"..give your head a shake....and to further your education the plane was basically a P-3 Orion...Which I am very familiar with. (I was a radioman on one.)"

Guadalcanal3: if you were a radioman on a US military aircraft then you know we follow orders from US commanders, not whatever the Communist Chinese claim to be true.
After all, we defend Taiwan, and the Chinese say it''s part of China...
They can tell me Florida is part of China, but I won''t believe them.
Of course we were spying from them... from INTERNATIONAL waters.
See the following:
"U.S. officials said the EP-3 Aries II, a U.S. Navy electronic surveillance aircraft, was on a routine mission over international waters off China when the collision occurred about 9:15 a.m."
http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/04/01/us.china.plane.02/index.html
And too bad their poorly trained pilot couldn''t fly straight and collided with our plane. Do you always blame the victims of accidents? - Reply to this comment

- When did it become fashionable for Republican presidents to appease Communists? Bush says that going to the olympics is patriotic, and Bush''''s thirty percenters rally to support him. Bush''''s supporters could catch Bush in an unnatural act with a goat and say "That''''s patriotic!"

Was it an American Goat? If so, IT was Patriotic!!
