Ok tell us again how this was a war to get "weapons of mass destruction" or wait--it was to "liberate" the Iraqis--but really it was for OIL!!!

Hundreds of thousands have DIED for Bushs wet oil dream to come true.

BUSH WINS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! The gutless coward

If we invaded Iraq for the oil, then why aren''t we using it ourselves? Huh?!?! You''ve beaten that horse to death. Let it go and get over yourself!

Good news for everyone: go to www.Teslamotors.com
Tesla, get 225 miles on a single charge and cost $60,000. Tesla did not officially announce when the new model would go on sale, nor would it say where in California the "multi-use sport sedan" would be produced.

"Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani says the 35 oil companies that qualified for bidding include several majors from the West, such as Shell, BP, Exxon Mobil and Total."

What a great ploy of the Bush Administration to keep us in Iraq. Here is one mans analysis:

Bush contacts his oil buddies to make the offer after clearing it through the Iraq leaders. Once our interests are in getting our hands on the increased production we have no chance of pulling out of Iraq because we need to protect our own oil interests. This issue will also have a moderating influence on oil pricing as the article explains. Bush & Cheney have done it again. Big Oil wins & the rest of us are just victims. Obama can try to get us out of this war but deals like this are going to prevent it from happening. We are sold out again bu the Bush camp even in their ultimate US political defeat.

"McCain was campaigning in Northern Califorina --- He was AWOL on the vote for War Spending - Posted by j-whitman

So J, if McCain is guilty of AWOL for missing this vote. What is Obama guilty of ? He has been a no-show for 65 of the last 76 votes.

"hoseobama,,, By the way, you lied or someone lied to you -- McCain missed the vote on war spending -- He was campaigning in Northern California. - Posted by j-whitman

I don''t have a habit of lying, j-whitman. But, I was indeed mistaken - I was looking at the vote to go to war in Iraq. So you are correct. As evidenced here.

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&vote=00237&session=2

If you do a google search on "senate vote" this happens to be the second link you get.

I believe that would fit the definition of a ''false statement'' on my part. Had I known I was reading the wrong Bill, and had STILL chosen to report that information to you, THEN I would be a liar.

So, what am I a ''liar'' or ''mistaken'' ?

Does this reasoning sound a little familiar ?

Never the less, you are correct on the vote, as well as McCain not voting.
