An interesting idea that the troops will be increased in 2009. Have we all forgotten that in January of 2009 we will have a new president who may just say the hell with it and pull them all out of Irag ? Bush will be gone (unless he pulls a Mugabe on the grounds that God has appointed him) and have no say in the continuing maddness. As to congress having failed to act there is nothing the Democrats can do at the moment because Bush can simply vetoe anything they pass The real question is when will the Republicans realize that their only chance for re-election is to join the Democrats in impeaching Bush and Cheney otherwise they will be toast.

Don''t blame "failure" on "opposition". This administration had a free hand to do WHATEVER it wanted, WHENEVER it wanted for the entire 6 years that the republicans controlled the house, senate, and white house.

It shredded the constitution, ignored the will of the people, violated the Geneva convention, and usurped the law in every way, shape, and form possible IN SPITE of the liberals and moderates objections. But we were ignored - as usual. Make no mistake - this error falls SQUARELY on the conservatives shoulders, and no one else.

First of all, in something that you proclaim this important, I would think you would at least spell the word "throne" correctly.

Second of all, what if you are wrong? What if it is the opposite of everything you have been taught? What if the Christians have made a terrible mistake and they are the ones going to hell? Personally, freewill aside, I find it hard to believe a loving Christ would have allowed the holocaust or anyother of the atrocities the world has experienced or is experiencing.

Ya know, for an all-powerful, all-knowing creator of all things He sure is insecure. Why punish people for eternity for the high-crime of not believing in you when you''ve given them no proof or logical reason to do so?

Which means, of course, if this God is all knowing then He must have known people like myself wouldn''t believe in Him. Therefore, apparently, I was created just to be condemned?
