- mbcsmith.....oh, sorry
I''m voting for Obama because he was a war hero, right ? I heard he flew fighter jets in Nam, and received several metals, including the Bronze star ? - Reply to this comment
- Why, Ray Gun negotiated with terrorists and he is like a hero to the right wing. A perfect pResident, a nice guy, mentally challenged and a hero to the rich CEOs. A racist with no idea of foreign or economic policy but negotiated with terrorists. Maybe it was because he created many of the extremists through his foreign policy, especially in Iran.

LOL...LOL again. Obama hasn''t been on anything " for many years". Get real, McCain has been involved with the military since the 60''s and national defense issues since the 80''s. GET REAL! - Reply to this comment
- I just don''t want Obama negotiating with terrorists groups like he said he would, at least I hope not

- captalistpig,,,, I have reread the story - So, tell me what it does ??--- you posted yourself it wouldn''t have an impact.
U.S. action would have little impact on North Korea''s financial and diplomatic isolation. "It will remain one of the most heavily sanctioned nations in the world
It only opens the door for War & Terrorism Profiteering as we have seen throughout this administration. - Reply to this comment
- What will Obama do, after we get him elected ? I hope he negotiates with the North Koreans

- -The president, insisting that the U.S. was not giving North Korea a free ride, also said the U.S. action would have little impact on North Korea''s financial and diplomatic isolation. "It will remain one of the most heavily sanctioned nations in the world," Mr. Bush said. All U.N. sanctions, for example, will remain in place. -
You should reread the story - Reply to this comment
- GetRealObama,,,, Bush has always been wrong, & even more so prior to election time.
This does absoultly nothing but lift, trade restrictions without verification of actions to dismantle nuclear programs.
Bush has also pissed off South Korea now. - Reply to this comment

- An old time news reel showed this suspension
bridge about collapse.
First it rocked extremely to the left, then
extremely to the right then
it began to make moves hard to describe.
I remember a piano accompaning this bridge
all the way down to it''s demise.
I forget whether they said it was an old
bridge or a relatively new, but lacking in
normal integrity, bridge that was
say maybe only
seven and a half to eight years old.
(Condi plays the piano doesn''t she?) - Reply to this comment
- j-whitman sounds like every spoiled liberal out there! you can not win a debate on the facts so you just start saying the Bush admin always lies. How weak!!

- There is no proof in that statement.
How has pissass North Korea manipulated the US??
Amazing how someone''s desire to diminish our president, ends with them aligned with criminals. - Reply to this comment
- j-whitman are you really that dense?
It stopped the proliferation of nuclear technology by North Korea. It Stopped North Korea''s development of more nuclear weapons.
We are not going to suddenly be trading buddies with North Korea, but it is another clear example of the Carrot and the Stick approach to dealing with Rogue countries. If future administrations continue with this type of a approach then long term North Korea and will become a no aggressive trading partner with many of it friendly neighbors.
You want Bush to be wrong so bad you just make stuff up even when something like this is clearly a step forward in the right direction. - Reply to this comment
- captalistpig,,,, North Korea has a long record of manipulating administations from one US election to another, his father was adept at it as well
I''m suprised you asked me of proof --- Especially after this administration has lied everytime when it came to protecting their political intrest. - Reply to this comment
- GetRealObama,,,,, So what did Bush accomplish ?? --- It doesn''t do anything, It still clarifies no issue we''ve been concerned with.
Specifically, Mr. Bush erased trade sanctions imposed on North Korea under the Trading With the Enemy Act
Bush does trade with the enemy -- Just as Prescott Bush did & just as McCain does. ----- It''s a continuing problem with the GOP. - Reply to this comment
- - Kim Jong''''s ... isn''''t stupid,
Prove it - Reply to this comment
- So what is your logic there? Kim Jong is helping the Republicans?
He was isolated from the rest of the world and through pressure and sanctions by all SIX members of the talks the North Korean goverment decided that cooperation is better than starving his country. - Reply to this comment
- GetRealObama,,,, Sounds like "More of the Same" blustering before November --
- Kim Jong''s been through many US Administrations & isn''t stupid, policies will change in our election no matter who wins. - Reply to this comment
