Islamic terrorists back Mugabe

Zanu-PF plots with a South African outlaw group to bring more terror to the country.

Four members of the military junta now ruling Zimbabwe in Mugabe''s name are holding secret meetings with representatives of PAGAD, the notorious Islamic terrorist organisation based in Cape Town, South Africa.

They are the best that humanity can offer (and Bono too). But they are hamstrung by the fact that they don''t really have military power.

This is where real-politik must enter in. Mugabe is already a mass-murderer. It would be a kindness to him to place him before the World Court and see him sentenced for life. But, swifter, cleaner, and with more resolution, the U.S. could simply tell him to leave (with some cash as an inducement) or face the consequences (all from the air, of course). Time to lift Zimbabwe out of its nightmare. Maybe Africa is headed for permanent ''also-ran'' status. I certainly don''t know. But, it''s progress is only slowed by thugs like Mugabe. Time for him to go, one way or the other. Honestly, it''d be a kindness to his countrymen to get him to leave the country, one way or the other.

If only they had weapons of mass destruction, or oil, then Bush and Cheney could do something.

This is a chance for America to become the ''good guys'' again (as they were under Clinton when he wiped his *ss all over that criminal Milosevic from Serbia).

Minimal investment in our overwhelming military domination. No American lives lost. Potentially millions of Zimbabwean lives SAVED from a fate worse than death. Democracy in Africa saved.

Win. Win. Unfortunately, there''s no oil involved. That''s probably why BushCo will do what''s ''expedient''.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but we could offer to take all the Zimbabweans Mugabe is going to kill in the next 5 years, and turn them into oil for our cars. That would be the Republican thing to do.
