Contrary to Iraq, the majority in Zimbabwe would appreciate true democracy.
However, since there''s no known oil in the country, Mugabe can rule at will.
The next time that mongrel leaves Zimbabwe, he should be arrested and brought before the war crimes court.

I think the GOP is already sending out study groups headed by Karl Rove to Zimbabwe to find out how "democracy" work!

Expect to see some "democracy, Zimbabwe style" in action here, in the US in November!

Mugabe is total scum. He is a murderer and a psychopath. I have no problems with the Catholic church, and 99% of Catholics are good people. But, Mugabe is Catholic. The fact that he is Catholic has nothing to do with him being a cruel dictator. He is a terrible dictator who just HAPPENS to be Catholic. I seriosuly doubt he follows the faith very carefully.

Mugabe is not Muslim, he was raised Catholic. Anyone can do research and find this out.

Mugabe is NOT a real Catholic let alone a Christian either! Its more likely that he is the devil in disguise. Its rather ironic the Mugabe destroyed his countrys economic health and food production capabilities BECAUSE HE HATES BIG BUSINESS, just like most libs in the U.S. do. Pay attention liberals...
Zimbabwae is what the U.S. will be like if you are hostile towards and run off our companies.

Look, nobody dislikes Islam more than me, or is more aware of the bloodshed it spreads. But, let''s try to to maintain some truth on these forums. Mugabe is not Muslim, he was raised Catholic. Anyone can do research and find this out.

Mugabe is scum. This is exactly what Mr Scumbag wanted, he wanted the other guy to drop out.
Mugabe will leave someday, but at this rate that may only happen when he dies. The only silver lining is that he is 84 years old. Sad.

Mugabe is dictator - pure and simple. And dictators do not give up power. This is a matter for Africans to resolve by themselves. Not for the USA to mess in. Worse thing that can happen. If the citizens of this country want Mugabe, they will do nothing. But, if they do not, they will overthrow him.

Zimbabwe Police Raid Christian Offices
Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Police raided Zimbabwe Christian Alliance offices on Monday and arrested five staff members for interrogation, the group reported.
Faced with the very real prospect of losing power, the 84-year-old Mugabe and his party the Zanu-PF party has resorted to violence, including an alleged plan to assassinate Tsvangirai and other key leaders of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change Party.
Under Mugabe, Zimbabwe which was once dubbed the breadbasket of southern Africa, has spiraled into an economic meltdown that includes an unemployment rate of about 80 percent and inflation at more than 100,000 percent.

Re ubrew12''s comments.

You really want the U.S. to get involved in more international crises?

Don''t we have enough on our plate? Why do we have to be the world''s policeman all the time? What''s in it for us? Other than spending more millions & millions?
Maybe Americans dying.

It''s Africans doing it to Africans. Same old story with no ending.

All they understand in Africa is violence & brute force. Things in Zimbabwe just go from bad to worse. I''m surprised the country hasn''t collapsed yet. Mugabe is the lowest of the low. A real snake.

You think the black man loves other black men as his brother? Think again. That''s a big lie.

If the U.S. is serious about exporting democracy abroad, why the stonewall over the sham going on in Zimbabwe? Mugabe is a thug of Milosevician proportions. If something isn''t done soon, a Rwandan-style genocide is in their future.
