How to beat these Islamic Jihadists, and do it within a year:
1. Re-institute the draft. Now. Just do it. Gotta do it some day, might as well get %u2018er done now.
2. Force the US Army and Marines to grow by 33% within 6 months.
3. Add another 50,000 US troops to the Afghan-Pak border. Equip for full ground war. Send our most experience guys while we train the new draftees at home.
4. Add 300 more attack helicopters to the Afg-Pak border
5. The US should go into Pakistan (the tribal areas) anytime it needs to kill AQ and Taliban. On the ground or by air.
6. Destroy every last safe house, compound, and vehicle in this area
7. Use massive bombing strikes(like we did in 2001) and level any suspected AQ or Taliban village. Leave nothing but dust. Lay waste to the land.

We need to realize AQ and Taliban are like rats. If you even leave 2 behind, they will just make more. Time to go in, clean house, and be rid of the vermin.

Once again, the media intentionally distorts the news, and the mindless masses just eat it up. Karzai did NOT say he wants to INVADE Pakistan. He only reserves the right to attack militants on Pakistan''s side of border. The same militants being protected by our "ally" on the war on terror.

And people just POUNCE on this distortion by slamming Karzai left and right. BTW, Pakistan is the same country that sold nuclear technology to North Korea and Iran. It DESERVES to be invaded. Too bad the U.S. went for the oil of Iraq instead.

Our uppity puppet in Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, must be getting pretty desperate.

Former Unocal executive Kazai, is known as the "Mayor of Kabul", since he controls very little, outside of the capital city.

And now he is threatening to attack Pakistan?

What a fool.

We have no legitimate business in that entire region, and we should get out.

Actualy Pakistan is not an ally ,

Pakistan train, arm and cover those Taliban and al-qaeda fighters.
And you call it an ally?

The Bush administration has called Pakistan on numerous occasions an important ally in the war on terror. Look it up.

It seems to me that everytime we (the U.S.) intervene somewhere in the world in an effort to "do the right thing" to help the oppressed people of a country, eradicate terrorism, etc we eventually end up being hated and despised by the very people we are there to help. Perhaps it is time these people who so dislike us began learning to fight for themselves for a change, and if necessary...die for their OWN beliefs/freedoms - just as WE did in the U.S. during our own Revolutionary & Civil Wars! If they TRULY want their freedom/independence as they so vehemently claim they do...let them learn that THEY are the ones who must be willing to pay the price for it...even if it means the same ULTIMATE sacrifice we ourselves made. All we''ve gotten from this mess is increasing American deaths, ever-escalating gas/food prices here at home, and a Congress & President who seem intent on doing only what THEY want to do instead of what the American public wants to see done! Enough is enough! Wake up everybody! One day you will awaken only to discover that your constitutional freedoms have gone the way of the wind! The last time I checked, the U.S. Constitution stated that ours is a government of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, & for the People!

and meanwhile the Afghan government and army can''t keep security at a prison. But they are outraged that their border with Pakistan is porous. What a joke, it looks like a page from Bush''s tactics.
