Some people mentioned that these tribes may not be peaceful, noting that in the picture they were pointing their arrows at the plane. Not necessarily true. First, they need weapons to hunt. Second, having what appears to be a very large, noisy bird (the plane) coming at you, of course they felt a need to try to defend themselves. This is in no way an indication that they''re an aggressive people.

If they are isolated from the rest of the world it means they have never heard of God, Jesus, Muhammad, Allah, Abraham, David, Buddah, etc...

Does this mean they will all go to hell and not get 72 virgins?

I am cherokee descendant, I say leave them alone. If it weren''t for your so-called democracy we would''ve done very fine indeed. Keep it to yourself and leave the natives alone. They don''t NEED or WANT your BRITISH type influence, just the way you invaded our lands for your so-called need to escape, only we have no escape from you.

Don''t worry. They will be introduced to modern civilization soon. Coca-Cola is planning to do a fly-by and drop off a few cases of Diet Coke.

===that their voice has to be heard or someone will simply step on their human rights and civil rights as well...they should be trained on the basics in our world...which include the internet....believe it or not...===

Uh, wouldn''t that kind of interference basically be steppingon their rights? We have to destroy them to save them? I don''t buy it. Besides, he arrogance of white man makes us think they *want* our way of life.

Someone should warn the tribesmen, so they can get their cauldrons nice and hot for their arrival.

barbaraf4--

I was saying, leave them alone. They are better off most likely without the craziness of modern society, however, if they chose to accept some help in the form of food they don''t have to hunt, or medicines for problems we can treat, then I say let them choose.

I just don''t want society to force itself on these people. They live the way they live. It might be primitive, but apparently, they''ve gotten by ok.

I think its a beautiful thing that there are some people who haven''t been exposed to the concrete jungles of ''civilized'' nations. I would just hope for thier happiness under their own terms.
