Obviously you have never been in the military. Noone hates a pedophile or rapist more than servicemembers. We do not cover up to protect them.I wish Japan had tried these guys as i feel their plea bargain let them off lightly, however the Japanese dropped the charges for some reason. Maybe the victim was to ashamed to testify. Maybe the prosecutior didn''t think she would do well as a witness or maybe he felt the case was too weak. I am glad the American military followed thru with the prosecution and although they received less than what i feel they deserved at least they didn''t go free.

You know nothing about me and i never said i condone what these guys did. I said that since they were convicted of the crime i hoped they would receive the maximum punishment. They make real marines look bad and a lot of people like you will consider all marines bad when it is really only a few bad apples.
