The troops in Japan AND the naval presence in the south Pacific are there solely to protect Taiwan? Can you prove this information that you just made up, AND provide a source of your figures? (By the way - we shouldn''t be supporting Taiwan either.)
In 1998 bin Laden issued his second Fatwa which decreed that ALL muslims everywhere, had an obligation to attack and kill Americans wherever they found them. The reason for this fatwa was because of our continued troop presence in "the holy lands" of Islam, AND our support of Israel in the war against their "Islamic brothers".
Also, page 147 of the 9/11 Commission report states that KSM wanted to attack America, not because of his experience IN America, but because of our fervent support OF ISRAEL.
(Or do you think the creators of the 9/11 commission report are lying?)
