You can''t afford food and gasoline for your family, but the government takes your money and gives it to other people while you suffer.

I just googled mud cookies as suggested and I''m horrified by the knowledge that our government knows the details of this tradegy yet offers up only this empty gesture. We stopped being heroes under Bush and instead became the worlds vampire. Why don''t we jump in there and be real heroes again instead of donating our blood to the corporate masters who''ve warped our reality into their neocon nightmares. Dammit, this is another mess we''ve created that we can fix with a simple heroic airlift of food and supplies for the starving masses which we so horribly f**ked up after Katrina. If the MSM informs me correctly, we''re now prepared for this kind of s**t and they''re not that far away for the greatest military power on earth. Ah, I forgot. We spend several countries yearly military budget every month in Iraq to maintain this fiction we''ve beem sold, so we don''t have time for real emergencies. Don''t you just love America under George W. Bush? The neocon motto,:
"I hear NOTHING!."

This is one of Cheney''s clever way of diverting money to Iraq. Bush (nor Cheney) don''t have a humanitarian bone in their bodies. (remember Cheney''s remark "So" when asked about the americans view of the war. Hope his pace maker battery runs out soon.

You know, when I clicked on this article, I was prepared to be pleasantly surprised by thinking that President Bush was going to take it a step farther and make it easier for the citizens of his country to put food on the tables to feed OUR families. While in sympathy to the other countries, what about the children of our own? And exactly how far are these tax rebates going to help us? I imagine most people are going to be using these rebates to catch up on bills and stock up on groceries to feed our families, not go out and make big money item purchases. So no surprise, he doesn''t care any more about the average American family and whether we have to choose between food and medicine or mortgages. He is just interested in the international press generated for being so generous, not in the country that elected him to take care of us.

********************
In some of the world''s poorest nations, rising prices can mean the difference between getting a daily meal and going without food," Mr. Bush said. "The American people are generous people and they''re a compassionate people. We believe in the timeless truth `to whom much is given, much is expected."''

You stupid Jacka$$, if you didn''t invade Iraq, we could feed the world.
But, like these other ********* rethugs posting here, it''s not our Problem!

One more thing about the new Ethanol Fuel. Farmers are not plowing under their wheat to grow crorn for the Government. So in turn the government has casued the price of flour and other things like: Doughnuts, Pancake Mix, Bread, etc... to RAISE in price Where will it stop ??? The Govenment in some cases is NOT for the people.
