Hey cornbiker,
If you have ever read the US Constitution say that Majority Congress means nothing with the Filibuster and Veto Powers. If Democrats had a Super-Majority in Senate (60 members) and House (2/3 control), Bush''s wallet would have been effectively empty on 2-Jan-2007 for the Iraq war after passing the bill on 1-Jan-2007.

"Don''''t be blaming just BUSH.. The Demos are in control.. remember.. (house & Senate) Blame your self for allowing those who run our country to do this to US.."

Hey Cornbiker, 6 of 7 years of this bogus war were under full Republican control (started the bogus war, pisssed away the bogus war, left the bill for the bogus war). Please.....

I''ve got news for you bootlicker... you went by simple Conservative LIGHT YEARS ago. When you fascist took over our Government there was a BALANCED BUDGET of this there IS no debate. Today we have a deficit of RECORD Amounts... of this also, there is NO debate. When you fascist took over the Treasury we have a SURPLUS, today we face a debt more that TWICE what it was when you took over. Yep folks our debt is 9.5 TRILLION Dollars and growing at the rate of 1 MILLION Dollars a day. Last year the debt cost US, you and I, 450 MILLION Dollars. That was just to pay the INTEREST on all those Treasury Bills gobbled up by the rich. So what in effect you brain dead swastika huggers did was give the rich a Tax Break so they could move our jobs to OTHER nation and then they used the profits from those moves to buy "T" Bills, which we the Tax Payer paid them 450 BILLION of our now much harder earned tax dollars... this all the while our Gas Price has increased 4 fold AND we''ve given tax breaks to those OIL Companies. Just how much failure are you able to accept there Sparky?? Sieg Heil Bush

Wasted is not the word.

The correct word is "siphoned" away, to Bush cronies and Halliburton.

War is great for business!

All a part of the Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Wolfawitz legacy ... they''ve left all us a terrible, terrible mess! America''s reputation and credibility around the world has been damaged for years. Obama is the one to restore our standing ... let''s give him a chance to speak out on the issues ... Please.

I''m absolutely amazed that anyone would still be spouting that "Conservative Drivel" after the plunge our country has taken in the last 7 1/2 years.

If anyone could credit the Bush administration with doing anything beneficial to the nation as a whole I''d love to hear it.

C''mon guys wake up , war, recession, loss of credibility and the moral high ground, un-precedented incompetence in government, Rumsfeld, Gonzalez,"Brownie" etc etc, what more would anyone need to prove this stuff doesn''t work.

I know it will never happen in the Bush world, but each of the contracts should be reviewed by the Department of Justice, and in most cases, the contractors sued to recoup US tax dollars.

Oh, so THAT''S what happened to our economy. What a pity Mom and Dad had to die of cancer because their medical deductible was too high and they had to choose between gas, food, and RX drugs. Now, I see-
Fu*k this administration, anyway!

The largest robbery in history of present and future taxpayers started on 1-20-2001 and will continue until 1-20-2009.

Since you never responded to the statistic of 54% of the LARGEST BUDGET in the HISTORY of the USA......being for the defense industries of America, how can you still get on here and say the LIBS are the spenders of America? I understand that all parties in government have stupid spending habits, but despite that, it just doesn''t add up for the Republicans either......how do you defend that? By the way, I''m totally onboard with fiscal conservatism, but the past 8 years with the Republicans has been anything but that!

All the money is securely stashed in an off-shore account... somewhere... waiting for Bush, Cheney, and their lot... to come and collect once they flee the country after they decide when their job is complete.

So in their mind... the money isn''t "wasted" at all.

I firmly believe the final accounting of the Bush/Cheney mis-administration will reveal that the National Debt is much, much larger than it is now. The largest robbery in history of present and future taxpayers started on 1-20-2001 and will continue until 1-20-2009.

Yes, the Cheney top secret energy plan is coming together on schedule.

(Actually, it''s a little behind schedule - it''s supposed to be $200 a barrel by now.)

I wonder when they are going to put some of the crooks in jail this informantion has been out for more than a year and nothing is/has been done to the people who received the 100 billion dollars it should not be hard to see if somehntiong is only 35 % complete is not not finished are they blind or does the ones in charge not give adamn about the money we are spending or are they getting a big cut to keep quite, I feel they are getting a heck of a bribe and do not care as they know gw bush is not one bit more honest than they are.. I think it is time a lot of heads roll and a lot of long prison terms are handed out. The best of good byes to all Frank Bowers of Austin, TX
