Wonder if it was an accidental detination of IEDs or suicide vests. Maybe we''ll get to see it on Al Jazera''s Funniest Videos.

You''ve got to be a total anti-American freedom hater to not smile just a little when reading this story. I mean I know it''s sad for the individuals involved - blah blah blah - but come on.

I''m going to go fix a ham sandwich and a beer... and eat with my muddy feet facing Mekka.

kretos, I can tell that you are very unhappy (presumably) living in the greatest country the face of the earth has ever known (USA). Out of concern for you happiness, why don''t you let me drive you to the airport. Although you won''t be able to get a direct flight, I''m sure you can catch a connecting flight in France.

You sound like a real piece of mohamid.

The Dome of the Al-Askariya Shrine was destroyed on february last year in a bombing blamed on SUNNI MILITANTS believed to be linked to Al-Qaeda..did you get that Hungry..you friggin ignorant fool!!!

Ah gotcha. Since Bush liberated the terrorists in Iraq from Saddam Hussein''s brutal rule, you''re message at 3:39 was to warn Iran that we''re going to liberate THEIR terrorists.

Now I understand you.

One has to really wonder about this attack. Part of me thinks this could be the workings of the Mossad or the CIA so that Iran can indeed get more involved in Iraq, giving the US administration more reason to attack Iran in turn. Think of it as bait.

At this point, I am not really trusting anything that the government as well as the media is reporting to the American public given all the misinfo we received about Iraq.

Too bad these people have adopted a religion that encourages death and destruction. You would think they could see that.

Yet ANOTHER incident of medieval thinking populations killing each other in the name of some bogus, outdated, irrelevant religious doctrine.

Brainwashing + Fanaticism = Extremism = Hopelessness

Radical Muslims have been trying to exterminate the Baha''m Faith in Iran ever since the Ayatollah took charge in 1979. It originated in Iran and has spread around the world, and some say has the most potential of any modern-day religious belief system. That makes it a direct affront to the fundamentalist Muslim regime in Iran, and it wouldn''t surprise me a bit if government agents are the ones who blew up the mosque. It is way too far out of the way for outsiders to play a role.
The Baha''m Faith is a religion founded by Baha''u''llah in 19th-century Persia, emphasizing the spiritual unity of all humankind. There are about six million Baha''ms in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.
According to Baha''m teachings, religious history has unfolded through a series of God''s messengers who brought teachings suited for the capacity of the people at their time, and whose fundamental purpose is the same. Baha''u''llah is regarded as the most recent, but not final, in a line of messengers that includes Abraham, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, Muhammad and others. Baha''u''llah''s claim to fulfill the eschatological promises of previous scriptures coincides with his mission to establish a firm basis for unity throughout the world, and inaugurate an age of peace and justice, which Baha''ms expect will inevitably arise.
