gunownerdan, you hit the nail on the head. However, I fear that China has an advantage that Nazi Germany never did... and that is that we are building their military, economy, etc. with every trip to Wal-Mart.

However, the libs in San Fran have very much confused me... they normally side with anything against the interests of the USA, but not China. I guess the Dali Lamma is some sort of hippie cult figure and it''s "cool" to side with him.

I am from Canada and the other night on the news the Premiere said that they are doing something about the c-r-a-p that is coming from China. Any company found to be having stuff made in China or brought from China that is toxic or has bacteria etc. will be fined 1 million dollars.

The US is the #1 weapons exporter in the world by far and has been for decades. China can be singled out for criticism on many things, but not on weapons export.

As for contaminated food and lead toys, the non-Chinese companies that ordered those product for export should be most to blame for doing such a poor job screening the product THEY sold to their end customers. Your iPod was manufactured in China but Apple did not cut corners in their QA!
