WakeupUSA08, if evidence came along which was demonstrated with the scientific method to counter Darwins theory, I would IMMEDIATELY stop believing it.

-Then maybe you should look into strengthening your faith. If you''re a Christian you should know that Christ lays out the truth in black and white. But that''s your call. - Reply to this comment

- Also atheists don''''t believe in black and white Absolutes. They believe in grey areas, hence which is the whole reason they lack a firm "belief". They''''re easy to pick out.

Well I''m a practicing member of a world religion and I believe in "gray areas." THere are times when people will do something illegal or immoral, and yet, in a circumstance we find as Americans that there is nothing wrong with that. - Reply to this comment
- I stand corrected: Atheists do have a firm belief:
In Charles Darwin. He''s sort of like their Messiah type....
Thank goodness for Ben Stein''s soon to be released Documentary:
Expelled the Movie.

- -Who''''s bitter? Liberals blame Bush and the GOP/USA for the world''''s problems just as the jihadists do.
Just stating a fact. Truth hurts, I know

My response:
We''re speaking in general terms here. What most liberals blame Bush & GOP for are not the world''s problems---but, America''s problems along with how they have negatively impacted the world! There is a big difference between that and YOUR claim they''re blamed for the world''s problems! Simply, not true!
It''s not a fact. Do you see the difference?!
Well, thanks for responding to my question. Take care. - Reply to this comment
- WakeupUSA08, no scientist believes that life came from nothing. This is exactly what I am talking about, you lack the brain-power to understand how evolution works. I do not blame you for this, you simply were not born with the capacity. You dont believe the earth is 8000 years old, do you?

-Are you an atheist? If so you believe that everything came from nothing millions of years ago and that all intelligent life "evolved" from a microscopic single-celled amoeba in a puddle of pond scum all by itself.
And you call yourself intelligent....hehehehehehehehehehehe - Reply to this comment
- -This is the attitude of all atheists. And I assume you are an atheist right?
Who says he has to be an atheist? Why can''t he believe that humans are imperfect and therefore not everything is dealt with in a right or wrong? There are "gray areas" when it comes to issues.
Nobody has labeled you as a Christian fundamentalist who can''t acknowledge others'' beliefs. - Reply to this comment
- WakeupUSA08, yes you are correct in assuming I am an atheist. I am also agnostic though, because I realize I could not possibly know for sure that there is no "God", however you want to define that term. I also believe in protecting innocent civilians, and will even admit that there are cases where civilians actually have to be killed if the threat is simply to great. But Iraq was a mistake. I hope for a good outcome, but it was completely the wrong decision...there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq before this war.

- WakeupUSA08 writes: The USA isn''''t perfect, but as I said, we''''ve helped more countries and more poor and oppressed people on the face of God''''s green earth than any other country ever has.
I''m assuming you are referring to WWII and the liberatino fo Europe, among other past events. The people who lived in America in 1945 are not genetically related for the most part to the "Americans" of today, by at least 50% the population has turned over through immigration. Certainly, the leadership of that time is not related to America today in its style or practices. The culture of America today is not similar to the culture of 1950, for example Paris Hilton would be in jail or ruined for life, there is no chance she would be given a forum for her disgusting lifestyle in 1950. Donal Trump and sleazeballs like that would be in prison, not running our economy.
For you to give bush credit for the actions of the past, an America that would have George Bush still in jail and incapable of running for any office due to his known cocaine use, is bizarre. You might as well take credit for the Roman Empire. You are not an American, I can guaranteee you are one of those Irish immigrants or other recent immigrants who think love of country means endless strife and war. That is not the American way, it never was, and would you please leave our country or shut up. - Reply to this comment
- The difference is I see the world in black and white, you see it in gray.
