1st off the entire country DID make their voice stand against las FARC -- see the Feb 4th Marches (news was captured by SuperTuesday)
Finding the FARC is VERY difficult - this is a VERY large country with untamed wilds -- the FARC hide in jungle cover and work in very remote locations.
The people of colombia DO hate las FARC & they Do Support their president.
As for not doing a thing -- you are quite mistaken. The FARCs #''s have dropped from over 20,000 to between 8 & 10k now. The government has put out mass PR campaings as well as increased military & police presence. Colombians are starting to feel safe for the first time in decades.
