Would He CHANGE the way to make it easy for terrorists to get into this country to over through this country? Would He CHANGE the laws for any of His kind? Would He hang out with those who supported tyranny? Would He impose martial law? Could He start unjust wars for His hidden ideology? Could His decisions CHANGE the course for America? Would He change your civil liberties? Last of all would He change your right to vote? Believe me when I say there are no one with hidden agenda%u2019s in this world! - Hay IOWEIGN,
Thank you very much for reminding me the huge mistake that we made back then via the umbrella of the new UN where we continue to pay a huge price in treasury and blood 60 years later.
You talk like Americans today have soldiers ready to be dispose of and money raining like crazy. Well, in case you did not know, we don''''t.

No - I think Iraq is a big mistake and a Bush Administration crime. Afghanistan was/is a harbor for the terrorists that attacked us on 911. - Reply to this comment

- lovegetpeace - you better read your history better. The new Isreali state was attacked day one - and survived only on their own determination. The 7 day war was 5 nations against Isreal - and they attacked on a Jewish holiday - all at once. 7 days later Isreal was in Demascus and on the outskirts of Cairo.
Isreal has not been the aggresor but defensive. But because of their success they took land that was not part of the UN mandate.
Was the idea of Israel a good idea?? NO - it was a classic British idea of dividing up land that belong to others - they did it all over the middle east.
But are you blaming a group of people who have been persecuted, over 6 million gassed or killed in just 4 years, for protecting themselves and a dream they had? How is that their fault? - Reply to this comment

"lovegetpeace - This conflict goes back to the day the Ottoman Turks concurred the Balkans. If you remember this began when the Soviets left the region.
Are you recommending that if a people chooses to be free of what they deem to be an oppressor we should leave them to their fate?
And if you look at those opposing this deceleration you will notice all of them have regions wishing that same autonomy.
Knowing that - is the US''''s best position to hide inside or borders and ignore all the misery of the world, enjoying the bounty of our country and watching the rest of the world suffer?
Doesn''''t that strike you as a bit selfish?"

Luckily, people like me are MAJORITY!!! (Again, 6 million of us, ''normals'' and few tousand idiots)
Sadly, our ''beloved'' pirimeminister had an ''interesting'' speach, and by that he probably put some ''ideas'' in those moronic heads. And, the owners of those moronic heads desided that is ok to destroy things... - Reply to this comment

- The same thing happened when Israel declared it independence in May 1948 and where are we all with that conflict. You talk like this hell we are all going to have to manage now for who knows how many years is better than what we had before.

Actually, it was put through the United Nations first, just as this should have been.
In 1947, the United Nations approved the partition of the Mandate of Palestine into two states, one Jewish and one Arab. The Arab League rejected the plan, but on May 14, 1948, Israel declared its independence. The new country''s victory in the subsequent Arab-Israeli War expanded the borders of the Jewish state beyond those in the UN Partition Plan. Since then, Israel has been in conflict with many of the neighboring Arab countries, resulting in several major wars and decades of violence until this day. From Wikipedia - Reply to this comment
