Comments on: Saudi Woman Faces Death For Witchcraft
Human Rights Group Appeals To Saudi King To Halt Execution
- Witchcraft is extremely offensive to Muslims so, don''t be surprised if she does get executed despite protests.

- "Why should the word "penalty" even be uttered by a human without the power to judge souls & whence the procedure for redemption has been set by the sacrifice?"

Stating facts isn''t judging. Even if I were to judge, Christ did say "judge righteous judgment" so, I''d be okay if it''s a righteous judgment. I fail to see how my observation isn''t accurate. - Reply to this comment
- Oops, missed finishing my thought in one sentence. Sorry.

"It''s unfortunate that Muslims reject Christ''s removing the death penalty for such."

"For such"? If Christ''s sacrifice on the cross removed the penalty, and if it''s our personal interaction with the Truth (the Way) that determines what we deserve penalties for, then "for such" is only an issue to God & Christ. Why should the word "penalty" even be uttered by a human without the power to judge souls & whence the procedure for redemption has been set by the sacrifice? - Reply to this comment

- Here''s what Deuteronomy 18:10 states about witchcraft: "There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch." Galatians 5:20 in the New Testament is also critical of witchcraft but, the death penalty was removed after Christ''s sacrifice on Calvary''s cross. I''m sure I''d find a condemnation of witchcraft and it''s accompanying death penalty in the Qur''an if I tried as well. It''s unfortunate that Muslims reject Christ''s removing the death penalty for such.

Several words & concepts in the Bible have seen reinterpretation as time goes by to both mean & refer to different things depending on the sentiments of the culture at the time of the interpretation. Previously abhorred things make way for more fashionably abhorrent things, but the penalties ascribed pretty much stay the same. I suspect that "witches" has given way to "homosexuals", assuming that the affects of the certain messages about homosexuals is inciting.
Here is what one Christian site says:
"Homosexuality destroys the individual trapped in it, as well as the society that tolerates it. The tragedy is also that homosexuality is a tool used to destroy this nation from within by liquidating the strong, patriarchal family which at one time formed the backbone of national strength."
Without emotional & spiritual safeguards, how would this message not incite a crucifixion on a Wyoming fence. So, while they''re not doing the work, their teaching such a message is the "witch hunt" which leaves the "witch burning" to others. Guilty by proxy.
For those who will inevitably jump to labeling me a "Christian hater", know that that label will be unjustly applied. - Reply to this comment
- And we are selling this nation billions of dollars of high tech military equipment? A nation whose people, more than any other Arab state, have attacked us with terrorist attacks. America''s leadership has gone completely out of their minds because of the love of money.

-I don''''t support the koran either or any of this insane oppression going on over there. Same reasons.
-And rick, I don''''t support terrorism against the Israelis. Never said I did. Stop twisting things around.
If you read your history. Israelis were the 1st to use this type of warfare when it was called Palestine.- Reply to this comment
- Rick the biggest reason these things get pointed out to you. You brand of religion is full of these same types of injustice. More people have been punished and killed, all in the name of god, than any other reason combined. You belong to a sick murderous cult. Most of us see that. That is why we want no part of it. We are appalled by this type of behavior. If someone wants to be a witch, fine by me, someone wants to be gay, fine by me, someone wants to have green hair, fine by me. Your group on the other hand, seems to hate anyone who is not like you. History proves this over and over again.
