Comments on: New Sanctions On Iran For Nukes
Measure Falls Short Of What Bush Administration Wanted
- Russia (50% world''s natural gas) allied with Iran (20% world''s natural gas).
Nice to see other nations cooperate.
I see the Bushire plant will come online in summer.

- Now that the NIE has said that Iran abandoned it''s weapons program years ago it time for Bush and Cheney to **** and stop trying to drum up another war of choice and profit in the Middle-East. Non of our allies will follow us into such stupidity and despite the cheast beatings of the warmonger monkeys on the right wing, we can not hope to win another war in the the Middle-East without the backing of moderate Arab states in the region. Hell we haven''t even won the one''s we have going on there now!

- Russia (50% of world''s natural gas) now supplying nuclear fuel to the Islamic Republic, world''s second largest supplier of natural gas (20% of world''s supply.)
The prestige of the weakened U.S. under the lame duck suffers as never before. The Viet Nam war coward may as well continue his fishing and golfing. He thinks Iran is the past tense of Iraq.
Raise the toast and ship the nuclear fuel to the Islamic Republic, Russia! - Reply to this comment

- "Opposition from Russia and China to quick and harsh new sanctions has increased since the U.S. report, but Western nations have stressed the need to keep up the pressure. "

- Iran stopped the weapons program when they found someone to build it for them for less money than it would have cost them . Or they stopped because they had finnished the work needed for that point in time and had to move forward with the other areas of nuclear development .Or The arms work has not really stopped and has been put on hold until further nuclear development has been made . Any way you look at this ,Iran is hiding the work that was done and is going to be done .TRUSTING IRAN at this point in time or any point in time is the wrong thing to do . They must prove beyond any reasonable dought that IRAN has not 1/ lied in any way 2/ hidden work they have been accused of doing 3/open the country for full inspection of all world nuclear inspectors from all U.N. countries .IF IRAN CONTINUES TO REFUSE .THE CARDS ON THE TABLE WILL BE USED . IT`S YOUR TURN IRAN .
