Comments on: Canada To Remove U.S. From Torture List
Training Manual Had Warned Diplomats That Prisoners In U.S., Guantanamo Risked Torture, Abuse
- SOUNDS LIKE THE CANADIANS CAVED IN TO THE GREAT AMERICAN PEACEMAKER.
THE PEACEMAKER MUST HAVE THREATENED THE CANADIANS WITH A PROMISE TO SEND *** CHENEY ON A DIPLOMATIC HUNTING TRIP TO CANADA.
THE PEACEMAKER DOES NOT TORTURE

- The logical conclusion is:
If you torture but are our ally, you''re not a torturer.....
Thanks for the clarification Canada! - Reply to this comment
- Wow! What the power of money can do, eh? This whole thing fits with my Power To Lie theory: The more power a country or a person has the more they can afford to lie.

- The US is correct though - they do not torture - what they do is hire people from other countries to do the torturing for us - that way they have plausible deniability!
We just take the prisiners to another country and we just Supervise the Torture!
Lies within Lies is all this is about!

- It''s a good thing those Canadians got their minds right after we told them we were going to unleash our hordes of attack dogs across the border to mutiliate their genitals. Probably, what changed their minds is when the State Dept. showed them video of all the waterboards/Tasers that we are mass producing for potential use against them.

Bullsh@t!
Another lying Bush Administration appointee.
The Canadians were correct to include the U.S. on the torture watch list. It is a clear example of craven cowardice upon the part of the current Canadian Administration to remove either the U.S. or Israel from the list when both governments utilize torture against prisoners although both choose to call it something "harsh interrogation".

- Canadian Foreign Affairs Miinister says the list According to Bernier, the manual "wrongly includes some of our closest allies,"
Right. It''s wrong to say they''re torturers, not because they aren''t torturers, but because they''re allies.

- "The money came out of the Internet bubble and went right into real estate. And the easy credit policy Bush pursued was the one he learned from Bill F. Clinton. That repulsive, selfish moron is exactly to blame."

This we read from someone pretending to be a "dumb Black man" on another thread.
Wrong, passer breath, the real estate bubble and easy credit started with Reagan, and his "trickle down" BS. He pushed the agenda of growing an economy through credit to the already rich. The illusion of prosperity it created was used and maintained under all presidents after him, including Clinton, so now, when the logical outcome is realizing itself, and the bills are due, Bush does what, borrow more from China.
Your backhanded swipe at Clinton is as transparent, as your knowledge of history and fundamental economics is sorely lacking, as is your proclivity to prevaricate vis a vis ethnic heritage, as an ersatz validation of your anti Clinton fixation.
