Hey, wait a minute.

Isn''t Bush the worlds defender of freedom and democracy, intending to export it to the entire globe?

I mean, he would never meet, or pal around, or kowtow, with dictators like King Abdullah or President Musharraf, two of the most brutal tyrants currently alive and in power today.

No, no.

Bush is strong. And powerful. So strong and powerful that he can slaughter thousands of innocent civilians with just a couple of air sorties, out of simple greed and lust for conquest.

While simultaneously becoming the first American President to betray his nation by extra-judicially abducting American and foreign citizens and indefinitely incarcerating them in secret prisons without charge or representation where they are subject to institutionalized torture and murder.

Ooops. Nevermind.

That''s just the power of evil.

Oh geezus, leave it to some frothing republican to blame this *** on the democratic congress that''s only been there for a year and is stymied by the republiCON Bush buddies in the senate!!!!

Get real!

They''ve bankrupted our country for a freaking oil pipeline and oil exploration rights in the middle east!

The Green movement is doing everything they can to encourage us to wean off oil, but they certainly don''t have the kind of power you''re talking about. Didn''t you see the shenanigans pulled by Cheney and the guys from Detroit to hijack the new EPA regulations???

Get real!

Then he takes some US weapons with him to bribe them for pipeline support! He''s begging his azzz off!

pepperwood, what are you thinking?

The oil prices are high because our country is being administered by people driven by a treasonous GREED,
simple as that;
Bush is over there asking them to RAISE prices so he can get more mnoney for the ''faith based BRIBE'' to get the ''MINDLESS christian vote'' to help ''BUY'' the next election for the conservative evangelicals that run our country

"High energy prices can damage consuming economies," the president told a small group of reporters traveling with him in the Mideast.

Yes, that''s true, but they''re GREAT for oil company profits and that, of course, is what GWB is really devoted to. The last thing in the world the oil execs want is for the Saudis to increase output. His objective is to have gone on record requesting output and now he can forget about it.

The Inconvenient Truth. Money Talks....Did you ever ask yourself these questions? Why isn''t the New Liberal Congress 110th & Liberal News Media doing anything meaningful to investigate these exorbitant Oil Prices.....??? and the hardships it is putting on the average American Families, Etc??

There are no laws of supply & demand. Monopolies are encouraged. The deck is stacked against the consumer. The Higher prices are meant in order to FORCE the consumer into using less. Expect Oil prices to rise and stay high to reduce your usage & your carbon footprint.

Liberal Congress, The Liberal New Media & Big Oil have been left to wreck havoc on the Consumer for years now to Save the Planet at all costs. Everything is coming together. All they need is to have Hillary & Bill running the show again.

The Oil Corporations, like all big business today are free to charge what the market (consumers) will bear. We''ve showed them that we''re not afraid to pay the asking price of $100 a barrel. Of course, they''re greed has led to escalating costs of just about everything else. Heating oil, Gasoline, Food, Housing, etc. trying to get in on the action.

Wall street is experiencing a big sell off as this disease has set in. Recession has gained momentum.

The consumer has begun to wake up & respond. When Money Talks it is the only language Wall Street & Big Business understands. Thanks to Our Liberal Congress, The Liberal Press, & Our Oil Corporations for DOING Nothing for the Consumer.

There is no begging going on. The Suadis, Israel , Britain, Italy, US and others are all involved in the new deal in the middleast. The world bank won''t finance the Israeli/Turkey pipeline without stability in the region. Condi Rice and Bush are trying to isolate Iran and Russian interests because of competition for southeast asian & far eastern oil markets

Reuters uk-business: January 14, 2008 reported that US/Iran tensions over it''''s nuclear programs may cause Iran to retaliate by cutting oil production. This will cause the price of oil to go even higher. More profits for BIG OIL. Part of Cheney''''s energy policy is to build multiple pipelines from many areas of the region so that the US & British oil interests can control global markets and weaken Russia''''s and Irans positions.

"I''m sure no one will look with pleasure on a recession in the U.S. On the contrary, all our effort is to maintain prosperity and growth in all countries"

*ding* *ding* *ding* we have a winner. He is absolutely correct. By offshoring/globalizing, we have clearly elevated the livelihood of MANY people around the world. (Of course, it''s come at the cost of a couple or more million US jobs, but if that''s what some people want call "comeuppance", it''s quite obvious by now that if the US crashes, the rest of the system will crumble right along with it - so the folks saying that would have their "comeuppance" too. NOBODY with a functioning brain cell wants that to happen, regardless of locale.

Bush invades Iraq and the price of oil soars. Bush threatens Iran and the price of oil soars. Bush then turns to Saudi Arabia and asks them to bail him out. They just laugh at his stupidity.

The Chevy Volt is a step in the right direction but the price tag will be out of reach for so many of us, the answer is alternative fuel so we can tell the Prince, bush and cheney to kiss our ***** !

The Saudis are running out of oil and Bush has an economy to worry about. An understandable clash to say the least.

With Lord Bushlite flitting hither and thither, burning fuel by the barrel-load, attending his many grueling photo-ops, showing by example that it tis'' OK to waste fuel, as long as you are rich, white, Republican, and a born-yet-once-again hypocrite.

Paul Wolfowitz,Don Rumsfeld, Scooter Libby, George Bush, Richard Cheney, Eliot Cohen. Zalmay Khalilzad, Steve Forbes, Donald Kagan, Pete Rodman, Henry S Rowen, Dan Quale, William J.Bennett, Jeb Bush, they are all members of the PNAC Project for a New American Century. These plans were formulated by members of the Council for National Policy and members of the PNAC both secretive private organisations representing some 200 of the wealthiest men in the United States. Global control of business without any worldly government interfering is there agenda. They are in control not the people.

That is real stupid World Bank.

Posted by mcv57 at 04:28 PM : Jan 15, 2008.. It was''t when Wolfowitz was in charge of the bank. They financed the Caspian pipeline now under construction, and the US has to defend it to protect the financial interest.

This pipeline was also the reason for the Afghanistan invasion.

Bin Laden is just a stooge for the GOP grand pipeline plan (the corporate mob used this same stooge technique with the killing of JFK). Put the enigma together.

The Caspian Sea pipeline which will go through Turkmenistan, Afghanistan,Pakistan, to the gulf of Oman and on to India & Nepal. It will be cheaper to construct if they can go through Iran, but regime change is necessary first. The Caspian sea area holds one third of the world''s oil and south asian oil markets are their target market. This pipeline was also the reason for the Afghanistan invasion.
