This does appear to be a common theme.
"Remember how the military and Bush have lied about everything from curveball, to what happened in Fallujah, to outing agents--you name it--they have a lie for it and only admit the truth when someone busts them ---pathetic--even worse are the patsies who believe each new lie even as old lies are being debunked."
I do remember.
It is very sad.- Reply to this comment

- singinrick, the military and their intelligence has been shown to be very incompetent (see Iraq). Why should we believe them now? Furthermore, our military represents state sponsored terror that we are spreading in the Middle East.
Anyway, the Iranian attack was set up by the neocon men to start another war for oil. Even my young children can figure that out.
I am assuming the far left you speak of liberals. For your info they are the majority of Americans. - Reply to this comment
- Why don''t we just slink bearly into Iranian waters, let them attack us and take out half the''re Navy? when everyone figures out we were in thier waters, We apologize and say we thought we were a few meters in international waters. Sorry for the damage. Try not to shoot at us again, OK fellas?

- It matters not who''s BSin who, the iranians are getting close to the edge.If they value there future, it may be wise to turn it down ,time out, sit in a chair, relax, getting close to the edge of no return.

- I think what happened is that the US Navy ships were surprised they were being identified by the Iranians, and they thought to themselves "How could they?! Asking us who we are, the b.astards. What are they, blind? Can''t they see our freaking flag?"
So the Navy folks were forced to talk to the Iranians just like a hot blond in a bar felt forced by an unattractive drunk man to answer him after he wouldn''t stop bothering her.
"Harrasment, harrasment!" The ship captain and the blond prostested. - Reply to this comment
- Deceit is a common, accepted practice of the entire middle eastern populations. They will say and do anything to avoid being considered a freier. Self is all that matters.

Deceit is not a monopoly has by middle eastern societies. Bush and Company (and America as a whole) do not do too bad a job at being liars themselves....lol - Reply to this comment
- "Just two days after the U.S. Navy released the eerie video of Iranian speedboats swarming around American warships, which featured a chilling threat in English, the Navy is saying that the voice on the tape could have come from the shore or from another ship."

so many stories depicting Bush scrambling to get immunity for himself BEFORE the 2006 elections--it is pathetic--but not nearly as pathetic as mudrose and hilary08 trying to pretend there are not many sources out there to prove what they post are total lies.
See the problem with lying? They lie so well to themselves--they forget that the rest of us might actually have something to refute them with. Something their lies can''t explain--like all the examples I gave earlier of Bush lying--NOT being explained away. LOL - Reply to this comment
- There isn''''t any. Same with the War Crimes Act and Bush asking Congress for immunity. Would you ever think this Congress with Pewlosi and Reid lusting to find one small little tiny thing with which to make Kucinch''''s dream of impeachment come true, ever stoop to grant this man whom the despise Immunity? The absurdity of it is laughable.

This is like Bush and the "never said stay the course line" you can say all you want--the laws of science and technology will out you every time. Here is the info--or just put in Bush''s immunity for war crimes and find dozens more---LOL

- Cons completely ate up the Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman stories. They ate up the "deadenders" comment from Rummy and the "Last Throes" comment from Cheney. They believed we were "making progress" in Iraq from day one.
They believed that there wasn''t an insurgency in Iraq when Rummy denied there was one. Of course the Cons will believe this story. Hell, a bunch of them still think Iraq had WMDs just prior to our occupation. - Reply to this comment
- I would like to see an Iranian military ship start heading for the shores of America. Can you imagine how scared the right wingnuts would be? Hell they''re scared of a couple of speedboats harassing American terrorists 8,000 miles away!!

- "We''re coming at you. Your ships will explode in a couple of minutes."
There should have added something like:
"I am the evil dark lord"
The Cons would have eaten something like that up too. - Reply to this comment
- Its obvious to me Iran is being out classed on this one. They look like the aggressors and have taken actions to save face. The Iranians actualy prefer conflict with America. As long as they feel threatened they are one as soon as you turn the heat down they fall apart and start infighting. As soon as the Iranians beleive that America is not going to go to war with them they start worrying about double digit inflation and double digit unemployment and the Iranian people start looking at their leaders and asking what are you doing about this. I think this was the intent of the recent NIE.

- Another Jessica Lynch/Pat Tillman bs story from the military. The voice didn''t have a Persian accent. There was no video of the boxes being dropped in the sea. There was no background noise from the voice the military offered us (it was supposedly coming from a small craft at high speed) . The military spliced two tapes together. This story stinks to high heaven.

- These were international waters and the pleasure craft had as much right to be there as the terrorists from the United States.
This incident was likely set up and maybe carried out by the CIA. Kinda like the 911 attack. Who is out there who would doubt either of these contentions based on what we have done? - Reply to this comment
