Then you surely read this:

C.I.A. Closes Unit Focused on Capture of bin Laden

By MARK MAZZETTI
Published: July 4, 2006

WASHINGTON, July 3 %u2014 The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, intelligence officials confirmed Monday.

The unit, known as Alec Station, was disbanded late last year and its analysts reassigned within the C.I.A. Counterterrorist Center, the officials said.

The decision is a milestone for the agency, which formed the unit before Osama bin Laden became a household name and bolstered its ranks after the Sept. 11 attacks, when President Bush pledged to bring Mr. bin Laden to justice "dead or alive."

Now, I dont have the inside scoop on all the intel of course, but if you ask me, the search still goes on.

But hey, I''''''''m not the CIA. Who knows what they are doing.

You are certainly changing your tone from the other day.

What happened? A great awakening? Reality set in?

I''m not changing any tune. In fact, I''ve ALWAYS stated that I''m not the CIA. All I have to go on is from what''s ini the news and by me reading sources such as STRATFOR and others that have somewhat of a clue as to what''s going on.

I make my best judgements from those sources. Not just dish out a bunch of paranoid nonsense like you do.

Yeah, they are loyal alright. That is, until we kill him. Then whomever is left, will have to find someone else to go be loyal to.

In order to kill them, wouldn''t you have to find them first?

And to find them, wouldn''t you have to look for them?

Could there be a way to show them that political and religious extremism is a very counter-productive endeavor?

seems to be the contrary - bush extremism working fine and our born-again radical christians are pushing the agenda for total war against the moslem world. seems to functioning.

Osama''s looking tanned and rested - probably had a short vacation down in Crawford, planning the next announcements on the Bush War on Terror....

The most important subject for us to study is: Why are all these young Muslim boys and men so willing to sacrifice their lives?

Could there be a way to show them that political and religious extremism is a very counter-productive endeavor?

Why is their society so easily bent to serve the two ends above? Are they mentally deficient? Does the progeny of Muslim populations - taken as a group - have qualities that are exploited by their political and religious leaders?

What about the Muslim scholars that claim their religion is one of peace, but the common perception - down through the centuries - is one of bloody sword?

Taken as a group most of the Muslim countries are ruled by strongmen, kings, or dictators of one stripe or the other, forcing many of the native population to flee to the West to get away from their harsh rule.

It seems to me that the general repressive political policies encountered in the Muslim world, and the very narrow viewpoint of their religious leaders, creates masses of radical discontent..take a look at Pakistan, as an example.

It''s no that they came to the West and then became radical. Their political and religious structure encourages this violent type of radical action because their unbending thinking belongs to the stone age.

Not bloody likely considering that dubya dismantled the CIA unit that was hunting OBL.

Indeed, but to say that we are not still looking for him, might be a stretch on your end.

To me, whether Bush still mentions OBL is irrellevant. Now, I dont have the inside scoop on all the intel of course, but if you ask me, the search still goes on.

After six plus years they still have nowhere to aim a hellfire or anything else, poopy.

Why do you think dubya doesn''''t even mention OBL anymore? Never comments on his tapes that are released?

Because it underscores the fact that this guy has shown the world that we are incapable of finding him, mush less liquidate him.

Since I believe he is hiding out in Pakistan, I would imagine that we are coducting "behind the scenes" operations across the border whenever the political climate permits. Now, is not a good time with what just happened.

But hey, I''m not the CIA. Who knows what they are doing.

Good morning poopy.

You can''''t prosecute an invisible target.

Good morning FORMER,
There will be nothing to prosecute except for bits and pieces of him after a hellfire takes him out.

Sorta like that dude they smoked in North Africa with a drone loaded with hellfire missiles whilst he was driving across the desert in his SUV. Nothing left to identify him but the tattoo on the lower half of his leg.

Of course, that was the only piece that they could find of him.

In addition, the unclaimed $25 million bounty the U.S. placed on his head 6 years ago now shows a degree of loyalty from his followers that can not be questioned.

Whatever he is, he has shown the ability to outsmart the world''s best intelligence agencies for years.

When you take the oathe of office for the highest position in the land, you swear to uphold the constitution and protect it, not trample on it or try to dismantle it. You don''t use the power for dishonest gain so your backers and buds can make landslide profit''s exporting american jobs and production so that a few can fill there pockets with money at the expense of Americans. Thats not America, it is only greed and the love of money.............

What the new tape does mention is the BIG OIL connection. Binny is telling his friends in Iraq not to help the Americans rebuild a US backed unity government. By doing so they would be turning their backs on Islam & "It is meant to give the Americans all they wish of Iraq''s oil," Bin Laden said.

On September 14,2002 Rep. James McDermott at a Capitol Hill Briefing said that politics and oil, not fear that Iraq will use WMD are driving factors behind the presidents call for regime change. McDermott said there was an organized effort to squelch such discussions. "The political operatives in the white house have been very careful to spin it away from oil. Anytime anybody sees a connection they spin it the other way".
Who''''s in charge of the National Media outlets? Why does the administration spin the news and prevent journalists from covering the real agenda? The administration cloaks the truth under the veil of national security. On September 14,2002 Rep. James McDermott said: "Political operatives in the white house have been very careful to spin it away from oil. Anytime anyone sees a connection they spin it the other way".

Iraq''s oil infrastructure was rebuilt when Cheney controlled Haliburton. Halliburton/Iraq deal was done through the French because it was illegal for US companies to deal with Iraq, except for the oil for food program which US oil companies participated in. Saddam was charging US interests more for oil and cutting off supplies at times so they took him out.

Absolutely correct, but he has probably made more money out of this than most Americans will see in a lifetime.
