Roger: Your an imbecile.

My imbecile what? Or did you mean ''you''re''?

If you''re going to insult someone, try to at least be grammatically correct. Moron.

Since when do Christians burn people at the stake for committing heresy?

Since when do Christians support the KKK and advocate racism?

Since when do Christians blow up abortion clinics?

Christians have committed plenty of crimes against humanity over the years - as far as recently they haven''t hijacked planes....Muslims are violent but Christians aren''t innocent either singinrick.....

Just as Jesus Christ didn''t give you autocrat authority over interpreting the bible and extolling the virtures of Christians.........when religion becomes the rule of the land - there will be segmenets of citizens that are persecuted! Bottom line - jihad muslims are a great example of what not to be and to remind Christians........

You can bash Bush and his approval ratings but the minute someone points out that your Democratic majority Congress stakes claim to the lowest approval ratings in history, you still blame it on the Republicans!

Posted by singinrick at 11:05 AM : Dec 04, 2007

They are lower then the Dems:

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way the Republicans in Congress are doing their job?"

Approve 32 Disapprove 63 Unsure 6
http://www.pollingreport.com/cong_rep.htm

"Do you approve or disapprove of the job the Democratic leaders in Congress are doing?"

Approve 35 Disapprove 50 Unsure 15

http://www.pollingreport.com/cong_dem.htm

The GOP is 13 points higher disapproval rating, and a lower approval rating. Hence, one reason Congress'' overall rating is so low.

Hope that clears things up for you. Now, what was this about what planet I live on? The facts seem to suggest earth. How about you?

I''''d like to see you to say that to the families of the nearly 4k US solider who have died and 20K injured ini Iraq. I''''m sure they''''d agree that for this slight their lives, happiness and future were worth sacrificing.

Since you''''ve brought up Christianity do you understand that being a Christian means humbling admitting that you were/are wrong(that you sin?).

And this is what President Bush has done? LMAO!

I never said anything about Clinton - why do you feel the need to bring him up? Why would you assume I''m a Clinton fan? Because that is all Repugs can come up with tired rhetoric about and ex president when they are all just as quilty of making errors and committing crimes.

It''s not about Clinton - it''s about admitting your President is corrupt and you wouldn''t admit it if he killed somebody on the White House lawn.

President Bush = infallable according to die-hard Republicans. He admitted a couple of screw ups - vaguely - and is intent on dismantling the Constitution and the laws he must adhere too........to save his neck and those he''s mad wealthy.......

If he''d have done the same thing in the business world he''d be behind bars in Leavenworth, KS.

And, neither would I, if it were up to me. Just the simple fact that Hussein tried to assinate Bush 41 after the first gulf war was enough to go over there and take him out.

If you don''''t believe in approval ratings - then Sir Singinrick you probably don''''t believe in democratic voting and polls? All part of a free nation - something the Republicans would like to do away with and create a Religious Nation - just like the jihad muslims you berate..........if you are against their religion then you will die for your dissent!

The religious zealots that have hijacked the Republicans are eerily close to the jihad muslims in their thinking and attitudes............funny they berate them because they are very much like them!

You know *** well that President Bush has admitted the mistakes made. He has also corrected them, which is why he initiated the surge via the advice from top Generals in Iraq and the Surge has been working! Even one of the most liberal newspapers in America has admitted this in the New York Times!

Posted by singinrick

I don''t agree with that - then why is he dodging and evading Investigation Committees? Why is he telling his staff to keep quiet? Why does he erase his emails and claim he wasn''t aware of any policies. He shrouds his administration in SECRECY....and the only thing that means is he''s corrupt.

If you believe he''s an honorable man then I''m sure you agree and would defend with your life any politician that ''CLAIMS'' to be a Christian even though their lives mirror quite the opposite. It''s all in the actions not the lie that flow out of the mouth.

Actually, that''''s the very essence of blaming someone else. Bush has never taken responsibility for invading Iraq on bogus intel. Cheney has stated flatly he wouldn''''t change a thing knowing that Iraq had no WMDs.

Who were you saying the minority was now?

Posted by singinrick at 10:57 AM : Dec 04, 2007

Ah, the favorite false smear of the conservatives. Although the reality is the GOPers in the congress are the ones dragging down the ratings. Dems have a higher rating if you look at each party. Although, IMO they don''t deserve it - they haven''t done enough to protect the nation from the Bush administration.

Didnt Bush come right out and say that the Intel they received on WMD''''s was in error?

I believe he did - if only he would have continued that line of humility then I think his approval ratings would be higher.

If any of US had committed actions like either Bush or Clinton we''d all be in prison! My beef is let''s hold them accountable, prosecute, don''t let them dodge and evade the law of the land.....demand more.....

I believe they short change our intelligence and veil their true character..........and yet we stand for it year after year.

singinrick ,

It was actually General Fallon, Head of Centcom who insulted Patraeus.
"Fallon told Petraeus that he considered him to be "an ***-kissing little chickenshit" and added, "I hate people like that", the sources say. That remark reportedly came after Petraeus began the meeting by making remarks that Fallon interpreted as trying to ingratiate himself with a superior. "
