- Ah yes,
You can almost hear the weeping, wailing, and the gnashing of teeth at all the Marxist editorial boards at CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, Err America, NY Times
LOL

So that''s what all that lamenting was about. The SOB liked all to think it was a democratic process - the teachers and employees of businesses were told to vote for these changes. They were coerced. Lucky the people came out as they did. They would have been under the rule of a dictator by now. - Reply to this comment

So you''re probably in agreement with the anti-Semite holocaust-denying dictator of Iran, who also hates Bush. You liberals are really sick. Your hatred of Bush blinds you. - Reply to this comment
- Wow! I thought Chavez controlled the vote counting process. Surprised is all I can say.

I believe that was my point. No one here on the "liberal" CBS board has sung his praises!! - Reply to this comment
- Hugo didn''t get his vote even though 49% said ''si''.
So to the 25% who love Bush, how many of you would vote him the right to run in perpetuity?
Oh...I forgot, all he has to do is declare martial law to stay in.
Hmmmm. How many voted for that?
How does dyslexic Bush spell ''vote''?

- With the influx of "undocumented" immigrants and out of control birth of children to uneducated unmarried children this too will become a reality in the U.S. Keep them dependent on Government and fill them with class envy......

- "Vega is among tens of thousands of Venezuelans who, under Chavez, have new government-provided homes."
Pablo bought the poor in Colombia the same way.
"I don:t know to how many people this name rings a bell, but for sure that if you heard it mentioned only once, you can:t easily forget it. You associate Pablo Escobar:s name with crime, violence, terror, bombs, killing, more killing and the list is endless. Strangely enough, some loved him. Plenty hated his guts. Poor people of Medellin and Envigado adored him. He was the one giving them jobs , money, even houses. The man gave them what the state never could. For free. Can you blame them for sticking up for him??" - Reply to this comment
- Close call though.

Do you read and write the english language or do you just spread hate for pay? I''''ll bet you''''d support the return of debtor''''s prison jackazz!!

- USAyesterday at 01:54 PM: "electorate to be duped" ... When the British and the Australians gave up their infantry level semiautomatic rifles and munitions, they were not duped. They were being loyal members to their nations, which are much different than our own. England''s "Truth is never a defense" Axiom of Law prevents riot. America''s "Truth is always a defense" Axiom of Law prevents wars with Indian nations. Our Democracy is fundamentally different Axiomatically from others. If the British government decides to conquer its people their is no resistance planned. If America''s government decides to conquer our people we''re suppose to kill it and its entire support structure with our 2nd Amendment Weapons, while the regular Army prevents invasion. Neither British nor Australian citizenry factor in the need to be armed for effective rebellion as part of an oath of citizenship. To them it seems a contradiction. To us it is a necessity. No electorate is duped, that is an excuse to allow the whey to jump fences following there kings when Kings switch coadaptive gods. Indian body politics will dupe pollsters though, witness Nicaraguan polls the night before their famous election. Chavez felt confident. Indian nations can synchronize projection with amazing transfer speeds, it seems intuitive. One has no way of knowing the direction an Arrow Will flies until it leaves the bow, when an Indian is arching politically.

Perhaps you need help with the english language. I asked who on THIS board had sung the praises of Chavez. Not what hollywooders have said or Cindy Sheehan said. - Reply to this comment
- Apparantly only 51% DID, the 49% who voted YES are idiots who would have been quite happy with a dictator in power for life.

Keep the masses uneducated and dependent and that is exactly what you get. They are also all the ones reproducing. No wonder Governments encourage and reward them. Give them just enough. - Reply to this comment
- "and the liberals in the country STILL defend him. And they wonder why the term "liberal" has such negative connotations..."

I don''t agree that most people who would call themselves liberal would support Hugo Chavez; just the looney left that gives liberals a bad name; Chavez gets supported here in the US by the MoveOn.org crowd and loons from Hollywood. What do we really care what they say or who they support anyway? - Reply to this comment
- USAYesterday: And it''s even more fragile when it is a step down from what the framers had established when this country was founded on the basis of being a Republic. And if you think it''s an improvement, better rethink your position. We have allowed our own government to slide into a downhill trend that if not reversed will one day lead to our own demise. So be wary of that you wish, for one day you will realize the result of complacency.
