Report Warns Global Warming Could Have "Abrupt And Irreversible" Results
- Maybe someone should send this article to President Bush and remind him that there''s a difference between a legacy and an epitaph. At the rate he''s going on leading the world to save us from this dangerous situation, neither one will contain good words about him.

- Waitupaminnit,
Isn''t the hole in the atmosphere getting smaller? One would think that that would be a sign of things improving. - Reply to this comment
- on the upside, all the gw deniers may get to see the results of their arrogance and willful ignorance firsthand; it won''t just be the next generation''s problem to deal with.

- Does anyone remember the ''population bomb''. It was a best-seller, which predicted disaster for humanity due to overpopulation. The book predicted that "in the 1970s and 1980s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death", that nothing can be done to avoid mass famine greater than any in the history, and radical action is needed to limit the overpopulation.
Guess what - it didn''t happen.
Now we have Al Gore, a POLITIAN, telling us the sky is falling because the US didn''t sign the Kyoto Protocol.
Well, too bad Al wasn''t so enlightened when he was vice president. Kyoto was available for signature as of 3/16/98.
Oh, but NOW Al says - it''s a ''science'' and we need to reduce all these harmful CO2 gasses that are causing the greenhouse effect.
Well, the fact is, You can present the facts in two different ways. You can say that in the last 50 years, man has increased the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere by 20%;
OR
You can say he has increased it by 60 parts per MILLION.
''Y2K'', it didn''t come to pass either, did it ?
What about power lines and cancer - nope - but we spent $25 billion fixing that one.
What about cell phone and brain cancer ? Nope...
So learn to ask questions - challenge the experts, and those like Al Gore who CLAIM to be experts.
Ask, what''s in it for Al ? A possible ''draft Al'' campaign ? google Al Gore, and prepare yourself for the REAL REASON. - Reply to this comment

Why aren''t we seeing the story reported earlier this week where a top UN official, Yvo de Boer, said that ignoring the urgency of Global Warming was "criminal."
That''s right out of the Church of Global Warming''s Bible: Lable all "deniers" as immoral and criminal.
Meanwhile, in South America they are having record breaking cold, wondering when winter will end.
But you will NEVER see a story about that in our Mainstream Media, because it goes against the beliefs of "The Consensus" and the Church of Global Warming.

We can only hope that now, those fools who have been in denial, pandering to the energy industry, and those materialistic fools, who put their selfish greedy lifestyles above the well being of all others, will now begin to put their minute brains into gear, and get themselves behind those who have had their eyes open, and care for this wonderful world of oirs.- Reply to this comment
- Let''s all turn to the Fox Noise channel where global warming doesn''t exist.

- We had a whole lot of global warming to get us from the Ice age to now. I doubt mankind can take the credit for that. Nature puts far more CO2 into the atmosphere than we could ever hope to match. Our impact is minimal
