seven_pesos,

Re: "when bush took over the government the united states had $0 debt."

Better check your figures. We may have had zore deficit, but we had trillions in debt.

There is a difference.

The "borrow and squander" Republicans have certainly added to those trillions of debt, however, not to mention squandering our dignity.

j-whitman, you are the capitol of spin.

Don''t even bother to address me with questions unless you have something you can back up with proof. I''m tired of proving you are disingenuous. Nor, will you ever accept you are wrong.

Go ahead call me the same - I don''t care, given the source.

As for whether the Iraq conflict is legal or not, that''''s another argument, but don''''t try to claim the UCMJ makes it illegal...that''''s plan stupid.

I don''t know about its being stupid, but the UCMJ is certainly not the basis for the war''s illegality. The UN Charter, Chapter 7 is.

not one red state will vote for hillary.

the red states prefer upstanding, christian , faith professing republicans

and top notch leadership like george bush, jr.

the red states would like to find another prez like george bush. jr.

the red states are considering drafting rush limbaugh to be the republican candidate.

he has all the qualifications...

fat, bigoted, republican, christian, drug user, demogogue.

oh well, that''s the red states for you, folks!

speakinup,

If what you are claiming about Resolution 1441 were true, then there would have been no need for the Bush regime to try so hard, and fail so spectacularly, to force through an ACTIONABLE Resolution.

Your reasoning has been demonstrated as extremely faulty, 6 ways to Sunday on this thread.

In fact, Hillary is having to sell herself as a moderate to get the votes she wants.

She is anything but a moderate.

The war in Iraq is turning around, and I''m sure that worries her terribly. She has hoped to be able to run against the unpopular war party.

If she has to run on her merits - well - I ask you the question. What has she done that makes her the best qualified, as she puts it.

She has name recognition - a real plus for her.

But she has not established herslf as a leader.

J, Fox was created to make money and it makes a lot of it.

There was a need for a different news network to support the disenfranchised.....

They have a brand to maintain and they maintain it.

Agreed, donbl1. Murdoch saw Limbaugh''s radio success and capitalized on that market.

Personally, I''ve concluded that neocons were all the goofy, picked on kids in school who never learned how to fit in and this ideology, somehow, makes them feel that they are getting even for that somehow....

There you go again...over-hyping to suit your own political agenda...ignoring reality.

Care to explain how exactly the UCMJ, which you yourself said in a post later only applies to the Military, makes our being in Iraq illegal? Are you really that clouded?

Even before U.S. citizens submit themselves to UCMJ stringincies by officially joining the military, they swear to "obey the orders of the President of the United States", which pretty much makes each Marine, Soldier and Sailor over there, ligitimate, as far as the military goes.

As for whether the Iraq conflict is legal or not, that''s another argument, but don''t try to claim the UCMJ makes it illegal...that''s plan stupid.
