Ah yes, Musharraf...

...yet another dictator propped up and supported by the United States.

It''s no wonder the rest of the world hates us.

For a list of the dozens of other dictators brought into power and/or supported by the U.S., check this link:

America was once a nation for the blue collar guy. A realist. A do-er, a worker, a anti-theorist.. an app guy. All application.. He used to hang theorists by the nuts on his cloths line and drink beers like the rest of us. Once, America was great for what they called "The American Dream". Because there was no law of unintended consequence. Everything was intended.. and nobody got stepped on by no one.

Ah.. the good old days. *sniff*

No.. but then they got this crazy insane democratic idea of a "career politician". A guy who grows up around finely stained mohogany woodwork and tennis courts and women who still wear girdles. And think the world is a backyard.. with a big wheel and short guy statue peeing in a swimming pool..

.. but were born into it. Rich or something else. Never having to earn or work for what they got. They think everything.. EVERYTHING steps on somebody. When in reality there was once a time when there was no such thing as "the law of unintended consequences" .. and politicians knew and loved their jobs.

There''s only one thing earthly thats as absolute and consequential as a God, and thats a politician who believes in things like: "The law of unintended consequences".

The law of unintended consequence is an idea invented by carpetbaggers and skalywags who have no right to be politicians.

You know why they have fancy terms like "the law of unintended consequences"? So politicians don''t have to do their jobs and have extra-marital affairs instead.

The government said they need these measures in order to combat rising extremism, noted MacVicar.

----------------

It was ever thus, the fear of violent insurrection is used to justfy extraordinary powers be granted to government. The government then uses those powers to detain the liberal opposition.

Had Musharraf meant what he said the first 1000 people he would have detained would not have been liberal democratic opponents of his militaristic regime. No, he would have used his control over the military to arrest the militant islamic extremists who are also a threat to a Pakistani liberal democracy.

That however would have been unpopular with the components of his military regime who are sympathetic to the aims of the islamic extremists.

This clearly illustrates the principle reason NEVER to accept the adoption of extraordinary powers by ANY government: The Law of Unintended Consequences.

gay talese, the journalist who thought fiction
never spoke fact in code. now trying to decode
''blackout''by britney spears. very difficult to
do manually, with just my head. anyone still know
morse code? or semaphore? or all the codes
changed so that not even the inventor knows the
codes? the inventor of the code forgot to write
down what it meant. cryptography today by gay
talese, who thought he knew reality inside, out,
and it would never change. poor gay. so full
of hay. he thought facts were facts. he was
fed so much disinformation he could only hazard
a guess as to what the facts were. oh, is that
fact? and he did everything he did without
an ounce of tact. the peace pacts from heaven?
probably more authentic than gay talese was.
he was just a figment of his own imagination. try
reading psychology of the imagination by jean
paul sartre. asap. a sap? ah, the maple leaves
of mable street.
