They also say the Carrort shuold be used against Iran & not the Stick ------ They have much better intelligence networks than we do.... And it is also the same view from our Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff & The Commander, US Pacific Command

j-whitman - tell us how many Senators there in the US. Last time I heard it from you it was 110. Or why don''t you try to tell us the Nazi connection with the President again, that''s my personal favorite. Or, how about calling us facists again - com''on, be a sport!

I think about half of your audience has to be thinking, "what a loser - making fun of women and their sexual organs." That''s why I haven''t said a word about your comments on me... You are your own worst enemy.

I''d like everyone to know j-whitman is a Democrat. What a credit to your party you are, j-whitman.

Do you deny ANY of the above ?

speakinup ... No, not a coward just an honorable American who does not like the way things are going in the U.S. An agnostic, free thinker that believes right-wing extremism and religion have no place in our government. Iran has the right to live in peace. I do not need to ask what you believe.

J, Enron received no national support from Bush because he wasn''t president, yet.

Bush put the guys in jail.

Bush did receive support during the Governor races and the presidential races but Enron executives sinned and he put them in jail.

Edwards on Iran

We first need to be negotiating directly with Iran. Communication will give us more information and more control. At the height of the Soviet Union, we still talked with the Kremlin, and we talked with China at the height of tensions. It''s good that the Administration has just begun to talk with Iran, but in many ways these short talks are too little, too late. We need a fundamental re-engagement of the country.

For carrots, we should make nuclear fuel available to Iran and control the cycle, but allow Iran to use the fuel for any civilian purpose. Second, we need to offer an economic package. The Iranian economy is already struggling, and this would be very attractive to the people.

And, for sticks, we need to threaten much more serious economic sanctions if Iran continues its nuclear operations. We also need to take steps to isolate Ahmadinejad, so that the moderates and those within the country who want to see Iran succeed economically, can take advantage of it.%u201D

Pepper1,

There is a lot of confusion about when Enron induced California energy crisis occurred.

It occurred in 2000 to 2001.

2000 was during the Clinton Presidency and the second year was when the Bush SEC shut down Enron and Enron declared bankruptcy.

There was a propoganda piece on PBS about Enron and it caused a lot of confusion as to who was president. It was Clinton.

Democratic Sen. Barack Obama said he supports tough sanctions on the Revolutionary Guard, but he contended the measure Clinton supported "made the case for President Bush that we need to use our military presence in Iraq to counter Iran %u2014 a case that has nothing to do with sanctioning the Revolutionary Guard." Obama missed the Senate vote on the Revolutionary Guard, campaigning in New Hampshire.

In response, Clinton''s campaign later issued a memo that quoted Obama arguing last year for keeping a reduced military force in Iraq as a counter to Iran. The memo accused him of engaging in "false attacks" against Clinton in an attempt to boost his campaign.
