From where I sit, she was a common tart who didn''t even deserve a column inch on her demise, much less cannonizing....

RRRiiiggghhhttt. Your monarch is so "in tune" that she disparaged the dead Diana while the rest of the planet was falling all over itself trying to cannonize her.

She looked real "clever" on that one alright...

She didn''t care, she had to appear to care so she did. It''s strange that you mention her, Diana as i was thinking about her in context to somthing said earlier here, I actually telephoned the Washington Post the day after she was murdered (sorry I meant she died in a car accident)to speak to a journalist I knew there at the time, and no I''m not a conspiiracy theorist, but I''m sure you can read between the lines.

And what''''s up with the Brits having the most rotted teeth in the industrialized world? You Brits never heard of dentists?

Posted by formrusmcsgt at 08:16 PM : Oct 23, 2007

Gosh wher is this conversation going lol.

The UK is a low wage economy, they only get small bits at a time only when they jump up and down enough and then only given titbits to keep them quietly happy, but generally the wages here are appallling, and dentist are expensive as you well know. Actually the UK is ONE of the most expensive countries to live in the world. We pay over $10 for a gallon of gas, it costs me $150 a week to fill up my vehicle. The government here has never really cared about the people, we are serfs, to the autocrats and monarchs, but most here believe we are free. But we are not = bad teeth lol

Gotta go, but first, were you ever stationed at Camp Swab(SP?) on Okinawa?

Posted by AJMarine1 at 08:19 PM : Oct 23, 2007

Never at Schwab. Closest I came to Schwab was Iwakuni.

Understand that the UK and our present monarch are the most clever and informed and connected organisation on this planet even today.

Your country went from a world competitor to an also-ran. You just can''''t admit it.

Not to mention you have the worst food on the planet.

LOL re FOOD one has to agree as I am lucky to be so close to countries such as France etc, when I lived in London I used to have food flown in from around Europe fresh each day ....today could not afford that...another story.

Yes Britain as shrunk from an global Empire to what we are today in 100 years. And one cannot deny that we do not wield the power we once held, but do not be gulled by our seemingly lack of global power, we still have much more influence than even most citizens of this country even know about. Actually I cannot state too much here in such an open forum lol.

Is the US backpedaling on the missile defense system? I can''t believe it!
Ever since when does the US let other countries tell it what''s in its best national security interests?
I tell you when. Ever since Shrub, aka Bush, decided to squander our military in Iraq and along with it every ally who disagreed with that move.
People fear the US no more because they''ve seen our limits in Iraq and how we have a whole bunch of yahoos willing to "go it alone" while flipping their finger at everyone else, including their fellow Americans.
Our own economy is in so much debt, $4 trillion more since Shrub took power, that we now depend on other countries for our economic well-being.
Now, everyone is telling us what to do, or not do.

Really now? Then why is it that Brittain has become such a non-entity in world affairs?

Nowhere close to the influence of Russia, China, and the US?

As said I''m not ducking out, it''s far too complex an issue, really it is, and yes of course we used the UN to create Israel. You know the UK government is very subtle, and extremely clever at manipulating global affairs we''ve been at it for the last 5/600 years, and nearlly 99% of the time we came out on top. Queen Elizabeth the 1st had around 600 dimplomats all over the world 500 years ago, 300 years before we went to the US. Understand that the UK and our present monarch are the most clever and informed and connected organisation on this planet even today.

Yes, as I said one other time, there is nothing that people like better than to put a bully or someone who thinks their "sh-t don''''t stink", in their place. (no offense)

And the neocons play right into their hands. Just like the neocons played right into Iran''s hands by removing Saddam the "gate keeper" who kept Iran out of Iraq for decades. Now the door swings wide open.....
