-Gaye5, this book has been writtenin the Past about 1450 years ago, at the start of the revelation upon Mohammad the prophet. Muslims say they have been very badly accepted in the communities, in the desert of Arabian Peninsula, persecuted and in many times attacked, because they started to disturb the then ongoing set of political and economical influence of the ''pagans''. So THEY were THE minorities at that time. The writings goe back that far, and this should be considered in light of the then contemporary behaviours between humans and tribues. They were the new competition to the major streams of fairytales such as Judaism, Christianity and Paganism.

-On a second look, yo''d find the same declarations and incitement to killing and collective punishment in the ''not-so-holy books'' Torah and old testament Bible. Are you still wondering why there is a new testament? In order to clear the books from the violence promoted to Humans to assure their survivals.

In the mid-1800s, some Jews came to Palestine and, with the generous aid of some successful Jews like the Rothschilds, began to buy property from Muslim Ottoman Turks. The Muslims thought the land was worthless anyway, so they sold it to the "dumb Jews" for extremely inflated prices.

What do they all have in common? In each country or province, there is an ongoing struggle involving Moslems and non-Moslems. Doesn''t that say enough to the leaders of the west...Not other religions with anyone, but Muslims with non Muslims????.hmmm

And if peace is preached in the Quran to non Muslims, how does Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Grope Islamique Arme'', the international front, Jemaah Islamiyah and others Islamic groups get such a horrific hold .

Knowing their intentions what was England and America expected to do??? wait until they came to their shores or help the nations around Germany defeat this evil.. So it is with Islam, first Muslims want Israel gone, and as the Quran says that Muslims are to take the world for Allah, what is Israel and America expected to do.
Did you yell as loud as you are now when Muslim terrorists continually went into Israel and sat down in preschools, schools, synagogues, shopping malls, buses etc and blew themselves up killing many babies, children and women at a time and wounding hundreds more, yet Israel did nothing and the media said nothing, but when Israel eventually said that they had had enough, and fought back, the media was full of how bad Israel was..
Come on tuckerndfw surely you are not that blind.. As I said before, this tiny little country of Israel is only as big as Vancouver with only 9 million people of which 15% are Muslims, and they are surrounded by over 350 million people who live in about 22 countries around them in the Middle East. They would have to be mad to want to come up against these wall to wall Muslims who want them gone..
I don''t think that you could have read some of the posts here, as it would show how ridiculous it is to even consider that Israel is the cause of all the problems, and or to expect Israel to sit there and allow themselves to be annihilated....
