How about this? It is where I got the information. Besides, I really don''t care, I was just adding to the conversation; that was a long time ago and we have plenty of modern day problems with Muslims to worry about.

You''re right - we do have plenty to worry about. I was just responding to an idiot that gives credit to lars the spambot for being right on a lot of posts, when all that Lars posts is anti-Islamic hatred, from home made web pages. And Lars won''t ever put up a logical discussion - just copy-and-paste of the same old *** 1000''s of times.

I just disagree that hating EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING having to do with the Islamic faith, is the wrong way to solve todays problems.

The same can be done with anti-Christian rhetoric, but again - that won''t solve any problems either.

Sure, since Jefferson once attacked some pirates we should unleash Israel to invade Arab lands, establish a minority religious government, and brutually suppress the local inhabitants for about 60 years. That ought to work. That''s probably the kind of thing Jefferson would have stood for, if he was a monster and a brutal thug, instead of a decent man and a believer in self government. Yeah, if Jefferson was bad, yeah, then he would have supported occupation of Palestine by a bunch of strangers from Europe, who would then involve the US in horrible conflict, constantly provoking the Arabs, then hiding behind the US as if it were our fault. Yeah, Jefferson, if he was a madman who hated the US, he would have been FOR THAT, SURE HE WOULD, THIS IS JUST LIKE JEFFERSON, YEAH SURE IT IS, DUH IM STUPID.

Hmmm it really doesn''''t. I mean if you do a google search and click on the first home made web page that comes up in the list, and call that a "fact", then I guess it does work for you

I tend to discount home made web pages as being "factual" though. But I did find this at the Library of Congress:

In 1805, American Marines marched across the desert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves. During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines, finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy. Jefferson''s victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line,%u201CFrom the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country''s battles on the land as on the sea.%u201D It wasn''t until 1815 that the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates.
Jefferson had been right. The %u201Cmedium of war%u201D was the only way to put an end to the Muslim problem. Mr. Ellison was right about Jefferson. He was a %u201Cvisionary,%u201D wise enough to read and learn about the enemy from their own Muslim Quran.

If it could understand a basic internet search, it could come up with the following, among several other references, complete with further references and documented history, but it''s too blind.

completely understand why we don''''t have said access...but it''''d be nice sometimes :)

Posted by NavyRetired2,

If we knew everything that was done behind closed doors in the capitals of the world, we probably all would pass out or go crazy. Still, I don''t think we need to know "everything" our government knows.

My question is, if they did strike something nuclear, shouldn''t radiation be being detected?
