Mahmoud Ahmadinejad To Speak At Columbia University, United Nations
- What is so wrong about THIS guy coming to the US for a UN meeting? I just don''''t get the all the uproar.

Yes, many Americans, such as the likes of singinrick, are close-minded. They are close-minded because they fear what they don''t understand.
In singinrick''s case he doesn''t care to understand anything outside his little radical religious world. He is the type who can not function in the secular world with people who disagree with him.
Hitler was the same way; he couldn''t function with people who disagreed with him and he eliminated them. singinrick would like to do the same thing. But he can''t. So he resorts to childish antics and name-calling to satisfy his big ego.
In the early 1900 some people wanted to give women the right to vote. Religious wacko pointed to the bible and said it proved that god made women inferior to men. - Reply to this comment
- You are a wicked, evil man and you don''''t fool all of us with your deceptions. You only fool the gullible, like j-whitman and unpatriotic9.

In the mid 1900s some people wanted to end segregation. Religious wackos pointed to the bible and said it proved god wanted to keep the races separate. - Reply to this comment

Ahmadinejad & singinrick have a lot in common--both are extreme religious wackos. The only difference is singinrick is so far religious right that he is out of touch with the secular world. - Reply to this comment
- U.S. not qualified to host international gatherings: spokesman
TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said on Sunday that the U.S. refusal to issue visa to a number of Iranian officials as well as media persons for the upcoming 62nd session of the United Nations General Assembly indicated that the country is not qualified to host international gatherings.
Speaking to reporters at his weekly press briefing, he said this is not for the first time the Americans refuse to issue visa to Iranian officials.
On crisis in Gaza Strip, he said it was clear that the policies pursued by the Zionist regime, the U.S. and a number of other countries would lead to emergence of such a serious crisis in Gaza.
Besiege of Palestinians in Gaza and denying them access to water, electricity and foodstuff is the root cause of such a crisis, he said.
He expressed the hope that the countries of the region along with international organizations would take necessary measures to end the siege.
Iran will dispatch its humanitarian relief aid to Gaza, he said. - Reply to this comment

- so I read the comments about this story. many people have shown they disagree with this man''s religion or ideas (or at least what they imagine those may be).
NO ONE has given any reason why he should not be allowed to speak. Freedom of speech is guaranteed in our Constitution to everyone, not just citizens or people that are in the majority, or you happen to agree with! - Reply to this comment
- It''s bad enough that Columbia University is letting him speak..but they won''t allow the ROTC on campus, and here is CBS interviewing the face of evil for all of America. A great day in his life to brag about later.
