Not really. It''s like g*a*y no longer means ''happy''. The term ''liberal'' has become a term of derision. It describes in one word the left wing, bedwetting, limp wristed ''intellectual'' whose newage ideas and Godless lifestyle are singularly responsible for the eventual downfall of the United States. - Reply to this comment

He is not an American citizen, he has no rights here, he should be confined to his hotel and the UN and then told to go home. I don''t know why we have to have the UN in the USA and have to put up with people who want to come here and put us down, ie. Hugo Chevas(SP?), maybe they can move the UN to some other country and we won''t have to be a stage for crazy people of the world to run their mouths. - Reply to this comment
- superchez1 - we''ve all read those e-mails from people citing various acts of Islamist terrorism over the last several decades. When''s the last time you heard of a creeped-out Christian taking hostages, wreaking havoc during the Olympics, hijacking planes, ramming planes into a building they tried to destroy 8 years earlier...
Also, we did not create AQ. I know of the Mujahedeen, who we defended to get rid of the communist Russians. Russia is no longer a threat. Then the ****ards turned on us as well and became the Taliban. I wonder what they were told. Why bite the hand that feeds? Maybe I''m missing something, but given what the Taliban has done, their past is immaterial and should be dealt with.
Even the talk of "15 of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi" does not mean the Saudi government was responsible for the attack! Some people actually say that despite offering no proof to that empty belief. - Reply to this comment
- mbc - to respond to your points:
Definition of a LIB:
1. One who surrenders to terrorists
I agree.
2. One who proposes socialism
So why are we offshoring or attempting to offshore jobs to socialist or communist countries (China, Russia, Vietnam, et al), who are building big middle classes for the goods they make - not all of which are safe for people to use?
3. One who wants to tax the shiiit out of your paycheck
Tax''n''spend? How about deficit spend''n''spend more? I think we need a third party just for the sake of balancing books. And I don''t mean Arthur Andersen either. :)
4. One who wants to take aforementioned taxes and spend it on wasteful programs and then spend more on wasteful programs
Such as, can you cite any examples? (Some of which I''d agree with. How about government subsidy to large multinational corporations? Do they need government money?)
5. One who has no respect for military generals who have spent their entire lives protecting this country
I respect them utterly. Even General Wesley Clark, but I do agree with what General Petraeus said too.
6. One who believes that the loudest is the correct
Define ''loudest'', but I don''t disagree with you.
7. One who just doesn''''t get it.
Depends on what one isn''t getting, and even then I take a step back to ensure what I am thinking doesn''t devolve into tinfoil hat garbage like what some will do, and that isn''t easy either because it can almost be fun TO think of insane things like that! - Reply to this comment

Liberal=free, freedom=liberty.
Using the term liberal intended as an insult, in a way, is like burning the American flag.
You can burn a thousand flags and not harm one iota of the flags true meaning.
On the other hand, passing a law banning the right to burn the flag would destroy the very things it stands for.

No, it''s morons from the far-left that bury their heads in the sand and pretend that the REAL threats aren''t there - that are the real danger to the U.S.
But the far-left feels confident, I''m sure, that brave conservatives will come to the rescue (like they always have) and save them from real harm if their thinking is flawed. - Reply to this comment
