Last year there was 7 children that were killed in a fire. Guess what they were home alone while there mothers went out to a club partying. Your saying that is okay?

You don%u2019t live in reality, at least that is what I can see from your response. Common sense says to don%u2019t kill people, don%u2019t leave your child at home alone, don%u2019t hurt anyone, don%u2019t steal etc%u2026.. If everyone was to use their common sense we would not need laws that that is not reality so yes we do have to mandate common sense sometimes that is why there is laws about leaving your child at home.

I don%u2019t see how you can say having a law against leaving your children under a certain age home alone is a dumb law. It is not a dumb law because if there was no such law, people without COMMON SENSE would leave there children at home alone and when something happened to the child there wouldn%u2019t be anything to punish the parents.

If that is the case mostly all laws in this country are stupid. That is the reason why we have laws so people wouldn%u2019t do stupid thing like this. There are laws regarding children supervision. Why in the world do you think we have organizations such as the Department of Child Services? We have them because there are neglectful parents out there.

So no one was being stupid it was a good questions because these parents should have been arrested for doing this.

I would love to believe that these 2 are innocent, but nothing has added up since day 1.

1. What 2 educated Doctors leave their 3 children (all under the age of 4) alone and unsupervised to go out to dinner in a foreign country? How could they guarantee they would stay asleep?

2. When they interviewed a couple that were out to dinner with them - another Doctor stated that even though he got up from the table to leave around the same time Maddie disappeared he couldn''t have done it because he had gone back to his child''s room who he left behind because she was ill and vomiting!! WHAT!! Come on!! Is that what Europeans do? Leave children behind to fend for themselves so they can still make their dinner dates while on Holiday??

3. There was a story in May that Maddies 4th birthday was just around the corner and the Dr. Who cake had already been ordered - how sad! WHAT??? What 4 year old little girl celebrates their birthday with a Dr. Who Cake??

Come on people - this isn''t rocket science - something just isn''t adding up.

I have 6 children and I know for a fact that I''d be out banging on doors like a crazy lunatic. I think we''ve all been dupped.
