'' ... slaves were considered relatively high dollar assets that typically were little more likely to be thrown through a window to their deaths than a thousand or three thousand dollar computer ... wives and children, however, were slaves that functioned as liabilities and were far more likely to be put a day or few out of work than were field slaves ... ''

'' ... whuts extremely bizarre about slavery is that it only took something like three percent of three percent of folk to slave entire populations ... the first thing that should have popped into their minds was: ''ohmagosh, if we can slave populations with three percent of three percent, then our enemys can slave lil ol us with less than three percent of three percent of three percent of three percent ... ''

'' ... let''s invest 99% to those max wage folk what cuff cage collar and 1% to those min wage folk whut mug rape kill and 1% of 1% to those whut each give market share and other stuff to fifty folk what also each give market share and other stuff away to fifty folk each day for free ... ''

It is a huge insight: The reactions to this break down exactly into two groups: those who value REAL security, and those who value the ILLUSION of security.

The REAL security people see that a major flaw in security was exposed (unintentionally) by the comedians. No one was endangered. It will be fixed. Security experts know the value of faux challenges to security and are probably thanking these comedians (quietly).

The ILLUSION of security folks are angry that their fantasy has been shattered, and so easily. They can''t seem to find a target for their anger and it is funny in itself watching them implode.

When you read through the comments, it is clear who is in which group.

Any fools who think this is funny, probably think a custard pie in the face is funny.

Some people appreciate genuine wit and cutting satire. And some think this lumpen, turgid stupidity is hilarious.

Oh well, that''s life I suppose.

The result: A flaw in security was exposed and no one was endangered, although a few embarrassed. This is a good thing. A public service even.

And yes. It was VERY funny.

I gotta agree with andor3. The consequence of their actions was to reveal a flaw in Bush''s security . . . once again proving that the emperor has no clothes! :P

What''s really funny is the commenters here spewing about everything from liberals to media to inappropriate humor, while ignoring what really happened--it''s a specialty (maybe a requirement) of the right-wing today, to ignore the truth in front of you and make up fantasy and diversions.

What happened: a TV crew with no credentials, bad costumes and a thrown-together motorcade got through two levels of supposedly impenetrable security. I''m sure they thought they would be turned away at the first checkpoint and get some funny footage of interaction with a serious guard.

The result: A flaw in security was exposed and no one was endangered, although a few embarrassed. This is a good thing. A public service even.

And yes. It was VERY funny.

It''''s great this skit has inspired you! Be bold and give some of your creative impulses a try! The comedians in this story seem to be doing quite well with on their own so your best bet to get your comedy sketch/stunt produced is to do it yourself.

The world needs more laughter!

It has already doubled or tripled under Bush - what do you expect when al-Qaeda was in Afghanistan and Bush invades Iraq !!

****

what you are seeing is "cockroaches scattering when you life a rock". You have not seen organized and well planned UNHINDERED AND EMBOLDENED ATTACKS yet till all the obsticles that is holding them back is taken away..and that would happen 2008 when the DNC takes office..not unless the DNC implements the same tactics (which is more likely as demonstrated with thier lack of actions in terms of promises they made prior to the elections of 2006)

and you really need to stop getting your gospel from questionable sources..

we are dealing with NOT AN ARMY but an IDEOLOGY..an IDEOLOGY that DOES NOT UNDERSTAND BORDERS..NATIONALITY..

We have 2 fronts...ONE in middle east and SECOND..everywhere as cells..hiding amongst us..as simple doctors, students, housewives, etc etc.

what most liberals are asking is

take our presence out of middle east..taking out one front

removing any effort or tactic that holds back these cells (ohh that all so famous "they have rights too" battle cry)..taking out second front..
