Shame on you!!! There certainly are a lot of judgemental people out there and some of the comments have been down right mean, rude and cruel, none of you know the family, or the situation and I bet alot of you don''t know anything about camels and how they act, besides the article said she liked exotic animals, so for all anyone knows she may have been happy to have received a camel for her birthday. It''s an unfortunate tragedy and instead of most of you are critizing the family for giving her the camel, you might be a little more sympathetic to the family since they have lost their loved ones.

No doubt because she was frail, she WAS 60, I doubt she was a professional body builder or arm wrestler .

This is like giving an 8 year old a Cyldesdale stallion for her birthday, you don''t give pets to ANYONE unless they ask for one! this is the problem around xmas time with puppies and kittens, people will amazingly do stupid things like give a St Bernard puppy to a 70 year old woman who lives in a small apartment on the 3rd floor, or a Clydesdale stallion to an 8 year old kid whose last pet was a kitten but she wanted a real horse after playing with ''my little pony''

You don''t people living animals they my not want or are ill equipped to deal with, and you certainly don''t buy inappropriate pets for other people. You wouldn''t buy your neighbor lady a set of underwear and bras for xmas, why would you buy her a PET she may not even want or may not be able to handle?
