"Some groups and individuals consider that passages in the Talmud show that Judaism is inherently racist. Critics of these charges argue that the passages in question do not indicate inherent racism on the part of the Talmud (and Judaism), but rather mistranslation, falsification, and selective choice of quotes out of context, on the part of those making the charges. The Anti-Defamation League's report on this topic states:

By selectively citing various passages from the Talmud and Midrash, polemicists have sought to demonstrate that Judaism espouses hatred for non-Jews (and specifically for Christians), and promotes obscenity, sexual perversion, and other immoral behavior... Even when they present their citations accurately, they judge the passages based on contemporary moral standards, ignoring the fact that the majority of these passages were composed close to two thousand years ago by people living in cultures radically different from our own. They are thus able to ignore Judaism's long history of social progress and paint it instead as a primitive and parochial religion."

Their entire true religious following is bound by the quran to make war on us eternally, or until we convert. Can you not make the connection?

I can connect with the fact you do not know what you are talking about.

That is obvious by your continued repetitions of propaganda as if by somehow repeating it, it will become true.

There are approximately one billion Muslims world-wide and it is quite obvious they do not feel compelled to "wage war" on anyone.

"I lived and worked on a daily basis with some of the most fundamentalist Muslims on the planet and I am telling you that you are wrong.

There's nothing else to discuss.

Your (or anyone else's) unsupported opinion based on nothing more than what you read or heard is irrelevant. It is propaganda.
Posted by tuckerndfw at 08:21 PM : Jul 31, 2007"

You see therein lies the problem with you. You say you lived and worked among some of the most fundamentalist muslims. Which is a joke. If they were really "fundamental" you wouldn't be here today. Or did you convert? How can you call them "fundamental" muslim if they didn't follow their quran to the letter? Wake up.

That's what the "true believers" of their so-called religion believe, and take seriously, and act upon when given ample opportunity. Prove me wrong instead of just saying "unsupported opinion" based on something I read (which happened to be their "religion's" guiding document).

You can't...you lose...****...

Please cite any passage from any translation of any Quran that condemns the United States of America. Posted by tuckerndfw
------

Certainly the US would fall under the 'disbelievers' category in these quotes-but of course it refers to all non-muslims. This of course is just a tiny sampling of putrid hate that you can find in the Quran against 'infidels.'

Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Qur'an:47:4 "When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam.

Qur'an:8:39 "Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah." "So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world)."

The fact of the matter is that a work visa restricts a person to his own community. I was not allowed to (legally) travel anywhere in Saudi Arabia other than on business.

Saudia Arabia has millions of foreign workers and tries to keep them (us?) under control by travel restrictions.

But, that is totally irrelevant to the fact that I worked on a daily basis with some of the most fundamentalist Muslims on the planet and they were nothing like what is portrayed in western media.

OBL represent Muslims like Pat ("nuke the State Dept.") Robertson represents Christians.

"Please cite any passage from any translation of any Quran that condemns the United States of America.

That would be tough, since the Quran was written in the 600s AD.

It it did mention the United States of America, that would be convincing proof of its divine origin.

"Have you never read the passages of the Quran that basically condem the US?

Posted by NavyRetired2 at 08:11 PM : Jul 31, 2007

Please cite any passage from any translation of any Quran that condemns the United States of America.

Thanks.

As I said before, and you have now demonstrated, you are repeating propaganda, not facts.

I can't return to Saudi Arabia, my work visa expired over twenty years ago. And, KSA does not generally allow tourists or casual visitors."

I knew you'd come up with a tool, lame, retarded answer like that.

The passages that say that muslims must force every non-muslim to convert, or kill them etc. THOSE are the passages that condem the USA, because they condem the very values we are founded upon. Dipsh1t.

Their entire true religious following is bound by the quran to make war on us eternally, or until we convert. Can you not make the connection?
