FEAR

The only thing the Bu$hies have left.

You will never meet a terrorist in your lifetime.

Move along, nothing to see here....

ozilot,

It is not as you think, they don't come out and fight. they maximize on tactics; 3 quicks and a slow. Utilized very well in Vietnam by the VC and NVA, currently working well in Iraq. 3 QUICKS: Set up, Devistate, Withdraw. The Slow: Planning, and Gather Intel.

When I first saw this article, I thought to myself- this story is so absurd and childish, it sounds like the garbge that is regularly churned out by U.S. poopaganda contractors.

Reading a little further into this ridiculous article confimed my suspicians when the author revealed that, "Al-Zawahiri appeared in the video %u2014 first reported by IntelCenter and SITE."

IntelCenter and SITE are ********* clearinghouses, whose 'intercepts' are not fit to wipe with.

Bushies

Conservative estimates project the total cost of the Iraq war to be at least 1 trillion dollars. Given the fact that Iraq had no WMD and no connection to 9/11 or Al Qaeda before we invaded them and the fact that all of our own intelligence agencies say that invading Iraq has made us LESS safe, do you think that this money could have been better spent elsewhere? Perhaps we could have actually began by tracking down and bringing Osama and Al Zawahiri to justice? Maybe we could have then secured our own borders hmmm? Then perhaps we could have spent a little on intelligence, policing and increasing international cooperation to fight terrorism at home and around the world? Perhaps then we would have a little money left to work to eliminate some of the root causes of terrrorism?

Why do conservatives paint it so black and white? You give us the choices of persueing ineffective, incompetent policies that make us less safe or doing nothing at all. What about fighting terrorism intelligently?

Any neocon nutjobs in here care to explain why we've spent 500 billion and over 3,000 American lives invading Iraq while Bin Laden and Al-Zawahiri are sitting somewhere in Pakistan safe and sound? In fact, they feel so secure, their putting out press releases. Do you have a bumper sticker to explain this? Check your talking points.

Inside of six years no one can trace the couriers back to Al-Zawahiri or Bin Laden? No one can infiltrate the organization and provide the military with a location? No technology can assist in locating Al-Zawahiri or Bin Laden? In order to compile these various old tapes with the new require technology. How many people have the same equipment functioning properly after six years? It has to seem odd to anyone with half a brain that after six years we are no closer to capturing Al-Zawahiri or Bin Laden.

Leftists-when you stick your head in the sand you make it easier for the muslims to chop your head off. And while you pretend the problem of Islam doesn't exist-our enemies are already plotting the takeover of a nuclear powered nation-Pakistan. The Taliban and Al Qaeda there have united and have over 200,000 fighters ready to overthrow the 'moderate' regime. Read this article:

http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=28946

They intend to unite with Iran and other radicalized muslim states to form a 'muslim NATO' to attack the West in the future. Instead of reading the crackpot conspiracy theories, why not actually learn about what our enemy is really up to? If anything its becoming abundantly obvious that the Islam vs West war is just heating up and the war is shaping up to be very massive. It appears new battle fronts will open up in other countries like Pakistan.

All the stupid brainwashed people are right here at leftwing central, minimizing the threat from the Jihadists at every turn, rationalizing away any reason to fight, blaming America for the violence of the militants, creating a fantasy world of conspiracy theories to justify ideologies of pascifism, calling justified action nothing more than corporate greed, the list of goes on and on for the people here in fantasy land.

The fact that these guys feel safe enough to put out slick press releases on a regular basis is proof that Bu$h's so called "war on terror" is a rediculous failure.

******

would you stop whinning if we "invaded" pakistan instead? What we are fighting is not a 'country' but a radical ideology that is porous. we can be in pakistan, killed osama and spend a few dollars on a MOAB and this problem would persist. One of the many factors that we need to implement is to STOP HINDERING anything that would prolong this brutality. let me see you deal with islam and see how fast you can resolve it and how cheap it would cost you and then come back and run for president
