- I will support my nation and yes, even if it is Al Gore! It's that stubbornness that keeps America together whether you know-it-alls agree or not. I bet it made you sick when everyone supported Bush during 911 didn't it? Seeing everyone putting their AGENDAS aside (except some of you die-hards)and showing the power of a nation united. I don't care what you say or how many of you are against me. I have the same freedoms you do, isn't it great! To use a redneck term (also forefathers), Shut up or get out!

- "Bush celebrating democracy" is yet another oxymoron in the long, dark reign of this moron's evil rulership. Just a few days ago, Bush ordered up a plan for responding to a catastrophic "event" under which he has entrusted himself with leading the entire federal government, not just the executive branch. In any other country, we'd call this a plan to establish a DICTATORSHIP! The scheme, laid out in National Security Presidential Directive NSPD 51 and in Homeland Security Presidential Directive HSPD-20, was signed in secret by Mr. Bush on May 9.

- AverJane,
What a dark view of america...it's a business. It's not a people, but rather a multinational business. Is america a brothel as well? Sold to the highest bidder? Is that your cynical view of this land and it's people?
You call people cowards and yet you advocate that they drop their fight and leave if they don't like it. I on the other hand believe the people of this country need to wrestle the vision of the constitution back to the forefront and drive out the dark old world visions of those who have claimed patriotism but have been the most misguided traitors to the vision. Exploitation must have an end. You have a curiously disturbing reasoning about you. - Reply to this comment

AverJane, you can shove that sentiment up your stinking hole.
This is, despite Herr Bush's worst efforts, still the USA. We are a country based on dissent. Your insistence that others should support the leader or shut up belongs in Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy, not here.
It is our duty as Americans to yell from the rooftops, and more than that, when someone is ruining our country the way Bush is. People like you who insist we should support the President blindly are moral traitors to the country.
You should be ashamed of yourself. - Reply to this comment

So, freedom of speech in the Constitution is only for "show?" The founding fathers were just kidding?
Let's talk about supporting the president. Democrats need to remind people what Republicans did with Bill Clinton in Somalia, Haiti and Kosovo. Republicans like John McCain and Tom DeLay had called for deadlines and cutting off funding for those conflicts after troops were deployed. Apparently, it was fine to cut-n-run and play politics back then. They called for cutting funding, but not after years of war like in Iraq, where failure has become obvious. The Republicans started doing it from DAY ONE of those past conflicts. Talk about cut-and-run. - Reply to this comment
- "I'm not saying Bush is perfect but I do believe that he's not going to sit back on his hams and let the crazies of the world just come over and slam airplanes into our buildings"
No, you're right: his administration is either so totally incompetent that they shut down NORAD on 9/11, or they were involved in the attacks. Then, to make sure no more 9/11 attacks took place, they invaded a country that had nothing to do with it. But hey, at least he wasn't just "sitting back on his hams"!
If you support Bush, you should be denied the vote on the basis of mental incompetence. Funny how there were no attacks on this scale under Clinton, and that the first guys who bombed the towers are currently rotting in a US jail?
Where's Osama? Oh, here's the answer:
"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

Sorry, but we learned through the Clinton years from Republicans that one does not need to show any respect to the President. Especially, one who has taken us into an illegal war of aggression. - Reply to this comment

Define coward. You mean Gore, who went and served in Viet Nam in a combat capacity, or No-Guts Bush who got his Daddy to put him in the Air National Guard, deserted his service and had it covered up, and is lying about it to this day?
It seems (not surprisingly, as they are all hate-fueled morons) that Bush supporters define cowardice as "thinking before you shoot".
Sickening, hate-filled, doltish, inexcusably idiotic, country-wrecking fools. - Reply to this comment
- l8c6---No, you're mistaken me for the cowards of the United States. I support our troops. I'm not saying Bush is perfect but I do believe that he's not going to sit back on his hams and let the crazies of the world just come over and slam airplanes into our buildings. They might live that way where they come from, but we don't want it over here. Sometimes a president's decisions are not popular. This isn't a popularity contest is all I'm saying. Suck it up. Either support your leader or shut your mouth. Bush is not always popular with me either. It's not my job to defend him. I support this nation and its president, that's all I'm saying. Even when we get one of the up and coming hopefuls on cozzicon's list. I just get sick of people who sit back and tear down and *** about this nation. Get out if you can't live with the choices our president has to make. Do you think the elitist group in office now is going to be any different than the group coming next? America is a business. Who do you think is running this business? Businessmen!

And of course I'm sure she had all hugs and kisses for Clinton too. Just so supportive of our then-CinC were all the Republicans. - Reply to this comment

3500 American soldiers would still be alive. A civil war would not be raging in Iraq. Iran would not be pushing as hard for nuclear weapons. North Korea wouldn't have a nuke now. New Orleans would be in better shape. These are the places we would be with Gore, or pretty much anyone else othere than Bush. - Reply to this comment

- AverJane,
So you said in a previous post that you would support your leader no matter who he (or she) is, because in your words, that is being UNITED as a country?!
So you just recently called Al Gore a "coward". He might just run for President again for '08. Would you be just as supportive of him as you are for Bush? - Reply to this comment

--It is astounding isn't it? How can anyone claiming to have knowledge of the foundation of this country make such hideous comments and think of themselves as a patriotic american. It's as if they or their ancestors came to america looking for opportunity to exploit rather than be part of a great vision.
Bush once made the comment who cares what happens in 50 years with regards to Iraq as none of us will be around. Where are those who follow lock step when such outrageous reasoning comes out of this regimes mouth? If our forefathers had not envisioned well into the future this country wouldn't have made it to the middle of the 19th century. - Reply to this comment

- JetRanger7----I must have struck a nerve. All the shouting, calm down, calm down. You're going to bust a blood vessel. Anyway, I'm glad people like you know everything. It's just that I've never heard your name before. Are you running for president too? Wow guys, look at our choices now! Add your name to the list cozzicon has going. So the president lies does he? Is this your first experience of being so called "lied to"? Where've you been? You've never heard Al Gore speak? He actually said things on TV that the whole world heard him say and turned around and said that he did not say that. Now that's a liar. No, he was joke. I would have loved to see where we'd be with that coward running the show! I take that back, I'm glad we didn't have to find that out. We aren't going to be so lucky next time though. Look at the growing list cozzicon has.

- Bush: "America can maintain a friendship and push a nation toward democracy at the same time,"

Yes, and the truth is that our President has lied to convince this nation and its representatives needed to attack Iraq as it had WMD and was planning to attack the USA. This is why Donald Rumsfeld and other Generals, White House officials, and Defense Dept officials are on trial for War Crimes right now by a court lawfully constituted to try such a crime. This is why one of America's own generals is willing to testify these ugly "Americans".

This is what Hitler's supporters urged on their populace. The majority of Americans and those around the World have decried GWB's illegal war of aggression on people innocent to the USA aggression. Iraqis were not responsible for 9/11. And no Iraqis have been involved in the Airport or Military Fort planned attacks. Who is the terrorist? Al Qaeda responsible for perhaps 3,200 American lives. Or GWB who is responsible for 3,500 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis? - Reply to this comment
